I've fucked up my bathroom. Help me fuck it up more?

So it needed repainting. I stupidly let my son choose the colour. He is SO proud of himself and loves it. It looks the the changing rooms of our local shit council swimming pool.

It's absolutely fucking awful

So. Do I add white blinds, wooden blinds to help soften it?

Or do I throw EVERYTHING into the fuckit bucket and get hot pink blinds and flamingo the fuck out of it?

Change the loo seat. Other than that...urm....

It's not that bad but I'd add white blinds and loo seat. It's not perfect with the tiles but not the worst thing in the world.

I love the colour, but it would look better with white tiles. I would however life with it and really go for it on the accessories. I have a flamingo print in my bathroom in fact. I’ve also painted a bathroom hot pink in an old house, it had black and white tiles, i loved it.

I love the colour ! It's a little dark for a small room, can you add more white and mirrors ?

It's not dark, it's really bright, it's so bright the sun coming through the window is stopping me take a photo

The doors are solid oak and the 3 piece suite is white.

I'm taken aback by how much I agree with you, I also really don't like it (and I usually love turquoise/teal)!

I would be tempted to choose a limited selection of acceptable colours and ask your son to re-choose from them...
If re-painting is truly not an option, I'd choose neutral blinds (to go with the tiles) or white... if you added pink I think you'd hate it even more!

I also have put up a new wall light! But missed the fact that I needed one with a pull cord as there's no switch on the wall. So I now have a beautiful new wall light that's permanently on. Like, forever.

The contrast between the tiles and the paint remind me of sand and blue sky. I'd be tempted to go kitsch with palm trees and sea shells. Hang a palm tree print over the end of the bath, shell loo seat etc.

Its not too bad, id get everyone in the house a pair of goggles and armbands to go with the theme maybe inflatable yellow ducks too...

I don’t know why, but I found myself wondering what would happen if you added red. You know, full on colour madness. Kinda Mexican. Blood red. Hmmm?

I would style it out with a beach hut theme. Loads of beachy shells, mosaics, pretend liferings, little anchors everywhere and blue and white accessories along with the shell loo seat.

Flamingo the fuck out of it. Make it the funnest room in the house.

The teal is horrendous but I think you should go all out now and maybe get some palm leaf stencils and some gold leaf and go over it!

You can get some good tile paints so could paint all the tiles white. White toilet seat then turquoise, white or bright pink towels

My downstairs toilet has glitter wallpaper and a disco bulb. Totally outing but I've given up caring. We all sing when we have disco wees in there
