I've fucked up my bathroom. Help me fuck it up more?

So it needed repainting. I stupidly let my son choose the colour. He is SO proud of himself and loves it. It looks the the changing rooms of our local shit council swimming pool.

It's absolutely fucking awful

So. Do I add white blinds, wooden blinds to help soften it?

Or do I throw EVERYTHING into the fuckit bucket and get hot pink blinds and flamingo the fuck out of it?

I hate to be a negative nelly but you're probably better off just burning the whole thing down and starting again.

Jokes - but good luck living with that teal for the next year! The only thing worse than a teal bathroom is a red one..

paint loo seat teal! You could always paint the tiles white (no - don't it really doesn't work!) or perhaps colour the grout teal (& runs quickly away after op throws loo brush after her -if she uses one of course!)

Actually I think I love your son! The confidence to redecorate a bathroom at just 10! If he loves it then learn to live with it (please). He will be leaving home in approx 8 years time so not long to go!

I like it. I'd add some yellow/mustard accessories.

I like the paint. But it doesn't work with the tiles and loo seat.

Ok just read he's 10. In that case you are stuck with it till he's at least 14. White seat. Somehow make the tiles white. Keep the paint!

I love the colour but echo views re loo seat. Go white and white blinds. Probably not the best choice with the tiles but if your son chose it and family like it I could live with it. Nice clean bathroom by the way - mine is the depths of Hades after my daughters shower and I can’t be arsed to go and deal with it!
