My husband ate a sweet he found in our daughter's car. He feels extremely disorientated and unwell now. It m ay not be linked at all, but we have suddenly thought could the sweet have actually been a drug? Totally shocked, praying it isn't. Does anyone recognise these? Thanks so much.

She is away in France, I'm meeting her from the airport tomorrow. Not asked her yet as I need to be prepared if the answer is yes.

It looks like Kendal mint cake to me so I can understand why he thought they were sweets.

What HeadintheiClouds said. Just why would you put something in your mouth that you (a) found in someone else's car and (b) couldn't identify? That's just weird.

Your husband's health is the priority here so you need to ring your daughter and ask her what he's eaten ASAP.

Drugs usually taste like absolute arse OP. Like really vile. I expect if it tasted flavoured it's just a sweet.

They look rather big to be any kind of drug.

They were in the paper bag in the glove box and they don't look like a pill but a sweet. It tasted of aniseed he said and he had one. Better photo?

You don't absorb crack cocaine into your stomach. It's broken down by your stomach acid apparently....

They look a bit like crack to me. Looks like quite a lot of it though!

Clearly you think there's a possibility your daughter would have hard drugs in her car so you really better ask her.
