My husband ate a sweet he found in our daughter's car. He feels extremely disorientated and unwell now. It m ay not be linked at all, but we have suddenly thought could the sweet have actually been a drug? Totally shocked, praying it isn't. Does anyone recognise these? Thanks so much.

There’s no way on earth if that was MDMA he could chomp on a chunk of it like that and not a) spit it straight out because it tastes absolutely vile and b) end up sleeping on it. He'd be off his tits.

It looks like either dried pineapple or ginger.

If you’re still not convinced then FFS he absolutely needs to go to hospital because that amount of any class a drug would be highly dangerous.

It doesn’t look like crack to me but to be fair I’ve not seen crack for 3/4 years now so not sure if cooks are focusing more on flavour and presentation.

A quick Google says mdma often smells like aniseed but tastes incredibly bitter.
The gift wrap would be a very odd touch though!!

@Soola 😂😂😂

If they are stem ginger, maybe they’re for morning sickness 😬😳

What if DD says “what bag in the glovebox?” Da, da, daaaaa!

They look like stones you might buy at a tourist type shop - given the paper bag

What was the nosey bugger doing poking around in her glovebox anyway?

There's no way he'd eat a massive chunk of MDMA and a) think it was a sweet and b) fall asleep...it tastes fucking rank and he'd be off his tits!

Doubt it's crack either (although granted I've never seen it in person). Far more likely to be an actual sweet. Are you sure he's not diabetic if he feels unwell after eating something sugary?

QueenofPain · 18/07/2019 21:52

That looks very much like uncut MDMA. Google it OP.

But the stuff tastes absolutely foul, so there would have been no mistaking that it wasn’t a sweet it he’d eaten it.

JPK1510 · 18/07/2019 21:52

That’s MDMA

Ffs if this is true, then I would be taking your husband and whatever that is to a & E. At the very least I would immediately be ringing my daughter to ask what it was as a case of urgency.
