Mine is nigella!Grin

I just love everything about her and her food. Her recipes always turn out perfect for me and I love how in depth her books are and the little descriptions with each recipe.

Jamie also has a half go success rate here, kids love everything I’ve ever made by him, but the long lists of ingredients can make feeding a large family very expensive l, and I don’t mind spending a fair bit on food!

Tom kerridge recipes are nice but I can’t watch him on tv, his wet mouth and chunky thighs make me feel Envy.

Who’s recipes never fail for you and who do you love watching?

Simon Rimmer on Sunday Brunch and James Martin.

Can't watch any of the others especially Jamie Oliver.

Love watching Nigel Slater, I find something about him very calming. When I had concussion a few years ago I used to lay on the sofa, close my eyes and listen to him on one of the food channels. I know he's not always very popular on MN though!

I adore Nigel Slater. I want to live in his house, with his vegetable patch and utensil cupboard.

I love the way he randomly puts pauses...............in sentences.

TFSRM · 28/06/2019 20:07

Delia for recipes, Marcus Wareing to watch

EskewedBeef · 28/06/2019 20:09

Raymond Blanc. He comes across as a real person and not a persona.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/06/2019 20:09

Nigel Slater here too. He's very invested in his cooking , bit like Nigella , he cooks for pleasure . (Though he's a tiny bit creepy , eating in his kitchen all alone , and he never sits down to eat . Bad Nigel)

Couldn't watch Anthony Worrell Thompson though. So letchy over a female guest on his show

Rickandportly · 28/06/2019 20:11

Nigella for food (thank you for the chocolate lime cheesecake), but I love watching Gordon Ramsay.

formerbabe · 28/06/2019 20:11

Jamie Oliver...everything he makes looks great. He has definitely helped me become a better cook.

Love Nigel Slaters books but don't really enjoy watching him on tv.

I also love love love the Pioneer woman!

Rickandportly · 28/06/2019 20:11

I fucking hate Jamie Oliver though. Prick.

TotheletterofthelawTHELETTER · 28/06/2019 20:13

James Martin 😍
Love his down to earth food and Yorkshire style

EskewedBeef · 28/06/2019 20:14

Is James Martin from Yorkshire? He's never mentioned it...

ThursdayLastWeek · 28/06/2019 20:17

I don’t like watching JO or his politics but his recipes are ways nice godmmit!

When I need a classic recipe Delias website hasn’t let me down yet.

I enjoy watching Nigel Slater, I would like to be his friend.

Tadpoletofrog · 28/06/2019 20:18

I like the pioneer woman, but her recipes pretty much consist of sugar, butter, beef and pasta.
And it annoys me that she proclaims everything she cooks as her ‘most favourite thing ever’

aposterhasnoname · 28/06/2019 20:19

The hairy bikers. The hairy dieters books are my bibles.

Soola · 28/06/2019 20:21

John Torode for technique.

Ainsley Harriott for entertainment and easy to follow recipes.

Giorgio Locatelli - scrumptious tasting food.

I can’t stand Nigella though. She’s very fake.

Peitho · 28/06/2019 20:22

In viewing terms my fave has to be Ina Garten

'use the good butter'
'use the good vanilla'
'Geoffrey will be home soon. I can't wait. I've cooked him some chicken as a surprise'
'Mmmmm how good does that look?'
'spend $5000 decorating your table with rare orchids'.

Cersei61 · 28/06/2019 20:24

Gordon Ramsey - just gets on with it.

Raymond Blanc - could just listen to him for ever.

Jacksback · 28/06/2019 20:26

John torode yummy lol
My dp thinks I watch him for his cooking

Gordon Ramsey , so enthusiastic about cooking

Paris14eme · 28/06/2019 20:28

Jean-Christophe Novelli

mrsjg · 28/06/2019 20:29

I love Ina Garten. I want to live in her house.

SenecaFalls · 28/06/2019 20:31

Another Ina Garten fan here. I'm not much of a cook, but I do always use the good vanilla, thanks to Ina.

Isthebigwomanhere · 28/06/2019 20:34

Nigella is an absolute goddess. Love her books

I also love Nigel slater and HFW

Chewbecca · 28/06/2019 20:35

Delia's books have my favourite recipes, so reliable.

Most hated is Gino D'Campo, foul man in every way, I made the mistake of going to see him live once which was a huge mistake and I sorely regret having given him a penny.

DontTouchMyCurls · 28/06/2019 20:36

Gordon Ramsay and James Martin
