Mine is nigella!Grin

I just love everything about her and her food. Her recipes always turn out perfect for me and I love how in depth her books are and the little descriptions with each recipe.

Jamie also has a half go success rate here, kids love everything I’ve ever made by him, but the long lists of ingredients can make feeding a large family very expensive l, and I don’t mind spending a fair bit on food!

Tom kerridge recipes are nice but I can’t watch him on tv, his wet mouth and chunky thighs make me feel Envy.

Who’s recipes never fail for you and who do you love watching?

Oh yes! I love Clarissa & Jennifer too, the nail varnish, all the butter and cream, anchovies in every dish, Jennifer singing with the barman at The Dorchester....Fantastic stuff!

Yess Simon Hopkinson was so good on tv! And lovely written too. I wonder what he is doing now?

Nigella I like watching as she’s quite soothing but like a pp said she does this weird fake smile and then her ridiculous things she comes out with like emergency brownies and aforementioned liquorice box. So pretentious.

Michel Roux Jr.
He appears on TV shows like Masterchef but mainly he works full time in his Mayfair restaurant, Le Gavroche. I’ve been lucky enough to eat there twice and both times he was there, cooking in the kitchen with the other chefs. At the end of the service he comes round each table asking guests if they enjoyed their meal and has a chat. Lovely man! He hasn’t let his celebrity status go to his head and distract him from his main passion, which is cooking.

High Fearnley Whittingstall. Watched River Cottage from the very start and loved it. Also love the hairy bikers. I like the way Hugh and the bikers do proper home cooked food and you don't need loads of ingredients. Tom Kerridge puts star abuse in his shepherds pie. I mean what is the need?

Crinkle77 · 30/06/2019 11:58

Bloody autocorrect. Should say anise not abuse.

Gary Rhodes (he of the spikey hair) made a delicious mashed potato , passed it through a sieve to make it smooth, a drop of cream, salt, white pepper , some butter ........(all very nice so far) then grated orange rind

Orange Rind . In mash Shock

( He needs some Star Abuse for that . Oi . Gary . No !! )
