Carol has replied to Anne saying she is shocked that Anne would cancel her flight after promising it. Anne has told her that she gave her no option .
Both Barbara and I have messaged Carol saying that she has behaved badly and should apologise to Anne.

What a silly pair they are. Anne has been gracious in the face of clear CF.

Anna promised Carol a space on a girls holiday. Anne tries to turn it into a free holiday for her and her husband. That is not what was promised and Anne does not want to pay for that. Carol needs to get a clue. Send her a link to the threads; let her see all of mumsnet tell her she's been ridiculous!

Amazing! The CFery continues. I'm gobsmacked Carol's still arguing her corner. I'm glad you and Barb have told her she's been shite.

I know someone who, on the face of it, is the most supportive person imaginable, but it's all on her terms. It's usually thinly-veiled virtue signalling, her 'supportive chats' are all about finding out the juiciest bits, and it she loves the reward for 'being there' (which is often loads of attention, usually on SM). I wonder if Carol's one of those...
