Carol has replied to Anne saying she is shocked that Anne would cancel her flight after promising it. Anne has told her that she gave her no option .
Both Barbara and I have messaged Carol saying that she has behaved badly and should apologise to Anne.

I really can't find the words for this pair of (to steal a phrase) cuntwaffles.

I hope after all of this the three of you have a relaxing stress- free, dick-free holiday, and that Anne in particular can put this behind her and chill for the week.

I'm inclined to agree, I was just trying to point out to those who assume Dick must be the bad guy that it can as easily be the Carol. Or, of course, that they are both as bad as each other.

Agree there is no point in meeting unless Carol is going to apologise which can wait until you get back. It's not going to change anything before you go.

Look folks, if Dick is actually ‘Villazilla’ that means we have yet to meet J to Y (we did just catch a glimpse of Ivan (?) the taxi driver I think). So much more to come !!

Some people just don’t understand boundaries. I know a couple who turn up on people’s holidays, not to stay in the same villa / hotel but same area.

In the past they have asked people when and where they are going then at the airport have got on the same flight and turned up to visit the accommodation. This is at least three holidays that I have known of and possibly other friends holidays. If they say they are going away with friends we are never sure that the friends know!

And yet people feel uncomfortable not telling them where they are going, most people have learned to reply with a not sure yet. If they asked me I would tell them somewhere else.

I think Carol is one of those women so committed to pleasing her man that she can't believe other people won't change their plans and preferences around him. Dick wants a free holiday in the master bedroom, so why doesn't everyone else see it that way?
You will have such a nice time without this ghastly couple. Anne has behaved impeccably.

Just don't answer her anymore or tell her to fuck off. No need for drama.

What sort of update are you expecting? This isn’t a movie. They’ve said no to meeting up. The holiday isn’t until next week. It’s likely that nothing else will really happen. If it does, it will just be more crappy messages from Carol.
