Are there any conspiracy theories that you just think could have an element of truth?

I love all things conspiracy theory - from a psychological/social point of view it's interesting to see what makes people fearful or pessimistic.

But I often do see some conspiracy theories a bit like Urban legends in that they could be an exaggerated truth.

Are there any conspiracy theories or rumours that you just think 'maybe...' or even ones you're completely sold on.

I was just quoting another website and it wasn’t said in a derogatory way in the same way if they were described as Christian.

The whole point of conspiracies is that there doesn’t need to be a huge amount of evident proving otherwise.
If there was evidence and proof it would be stated as fact and not conspiracy by definition

I still think they know more than they are letting on about missing malaysia flight 370. I also read that people think that it’s being held by the government...isn’t that far fetched when you think about it.

Not read this thread but I don't believe we put a man on the moon. I think the moon landings were faked, to get one over the Russians.

I’m half and half over this. On the one hand the Russians would have known for sure if it was faked....but on the other hand, maybe the Russians did know it was a hoax but were part of the collusion. Why that should be I haven’t a clue. But I did see that clip where Buzz Aldrin said “we never went there”, and I heard the context he said it in and I couldn’t see how he could have meant anything else.

The rumours about Cliff are absolute horseshit. 'Nick' was probably behind them as well.

Where Grenfell's concerned, there is a cover-up operating right under everyone's noses. If you ask anyone what was responsible for the deaths in the fire, they'll probably say cladding. But that isn't true. By far the majority of toxic fumes which killed people came from burning furniture inside the tower. Why is this being covered up? Two reasons: one is the vast amount of money that's made from treating UK furniture with flame retardant chemicals; the other is that the government proved the furniture flammability regulations don't work five years ago and is trying to hide the fact it failed to act.

Even if they were Jewish, so what? Why is it even worth mentioning?
