Are there any conspiracy theories that you just think could have an element of truth?

I love all things conspiracy theory - from a psychological/social point of view it's interesting to see what makes people fearful or pessimistic.

But I often do see some conspiracy theories a bit like Urban legends in that they could be an exaggerated truth.

Are there any conspiracy theories or rumours that you just think 'maybe...' or even ones you're completely sold on.

He knew. As to how - that's a rabbit hole that few people want to go down.

What? Confused

Stop being mysterious and say!

Apparently it's called money laundering because launderettes were used.

I though it was because it was the process of turning dirty money into clean.

I thought that too but apparently it's because all Capone or someone used launderettes.

That might be made up nonsense though.

I've already said. His life with Ono was a conceptual art piece. The 'ballard' of John and Yoko was horseshit. He was insanely jealous of Paul, who he hated and adored in equal measure. He wanted to be richer, happier, more successful than Paul, but his marriage was a sham, he was permanently depressed and he'd lost his muse.

Before he was killed, he was a has been. Double Fantasy was granny music. After, he was a legend, the God of rock music, and Double Fantasy was a work of genius.

He knew it was going to happen.

If we all know about the man who likes to go on summer holidays then why does he make such a big effort to clean it up and keep people quiet about it?

It was years ago (when I was a young teenager) that I thought he must be up to something

It is

It’s so scary when you start looking into these apparent suicides and accidental deaths linked to people with knowledge that you realise they’ve been hushing people up for a long time.

Taken from the web: Fashanu reportedly threatening to “bring down the government” by leaking evidence of these affairs to the Daily Express.

When MI5 allegedly threatened Fashanu, Tory MP Stephen Milligan, a part-time journalist, is said to have weighed in on the footballer's behalf.

Within days, however, Milligan was found hanged in his London flat, naked, with an orange in his mouth in an apparent suicide, made to look like he was a sexual deviant. Several years later Fashanu was also tragically found hanged, this time in a garage in Shoreditch, London.

bebeboeuf · 22/05/2019 20:23

James Rusbridger, who died the same month as Stephen Milligan, was an ex-MI6 agent and respected investigative journalist specialising in intelligence matters. He was found hanging from a beam in his loft wearing a diving suit at his house in Bodmin Moor, Cornwall in February 1994. When his body was discovered, he was dressed in a green protective suit for use in nuclear, biological or chemical warfare, green overalls, a black plastic mackintosh and thick rubber gloves. His face was covered by a gas mask and he was also wearing a sou'wester. His body was suspended from two ropes, attached to shackles fastened to a piece of wood across the open loft hatch, and was surrounded by pictures of men and mainly black women in bondage. Consultant pathologist Dr Yasai Sivathondan said he died from asphyxia due to hanging "in keeping with a form of sexual strangulation".

It was reported shortly before his death that he had started work on a controversial book about the Royal Family

Jonathan moyle - At first, Moyle's family were told that he had died whilst masturbating and hanging inside a cupboard - to small for him - in a hotel room in Chile. He was found hanging by his shirt with a pillow case over his head. A needle mark on his leg suggested he had been sedated according to a report in The Guardian on February 28th 1998. A chambermaid claimed she saw blood on the bed, but the Chilean police said it was suicide. The British foreign office later claimed he had killed himself in some sort of "bizarre sex game" that went wrong.

bebeboeuf · 22/05/2019 20:25

It seems history repeats itself over and over

DobbyTheHouseElk · 22/05/2019 20:31

Gosh, lots of famous people have died in “sex game went wrong” situations

bebeboeuf · 22/05/2019 20:31

A quote which is very apt to this thread-

James Rusbridger: "Secrecy turns otherwise rational people into fascistic nutters; secrecy allows untold billions of pounds and endless energies to be wasted in unnecessary intelligence; secrecy pollutes the political process, muzzles what is left of the independent press and makes a mockery of Parliament and elections."

AhhhHereItGoes · 22/05/2019 20:49

@Ginburee I don't think that but do think his doctor may have given him a lethal dose.

@bebeboeuf I didn't realise the Krays were involved in child trafficking. I naively thought they were drug and arms dealing types.

OP posts:
bebeboeuf · 22/05/2019 21:02

I also had no idea about the krays.

Not read this thread but I don't believe we put a man on the moon. I think the moon landings were faked, to get one over the Russians.

There are YouTube videos about the American mattress stores, they are strange. There are sometimes about three within a small area, always empty and very few staff.

longwayoff · 22/05/2019 21:16

Peaches mother Paula lecturered us all on great mothering whilst shooting up and who knows what else so I don't see why her daughter wouldn't do the same.
