Are there any conspiracy theories that you just think could have an element of truth?

I love all things conspiracy theory - from a psychological/social point of view it's interesting to see what makes people fearful or pessimistic.

But I often do see some conspiracy theories a bit like Urban legends in that they could be an exaggerated truth.

Are there any conspiracy theories or rumours that you just think 'maybe...' or even ones you're completely sold on.

Mine's a Brexit one.

David Cameron called the referendum as he thought there was no way we were going to vote to leave the EU.
They were lining up a deal with the EU and the USA .
The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).

My conspiracy is not that it was happening but that TTIP was the reason for the Referendum at that particular time.

I tend to be more distrustful of side stream media. More often with a much extreme and less clear bias for the less attentive. Example: Breitbart.

But even in the MSM, there are huge differences in how they present news or opinions.

I believe Saville was very well connected within the Establishment to people with his inclinations, which is why he was never challenged.

Same with the holiday singer. He made it clear that if he got burned then he would take them down with him.

The only thing I don't get about the high profile child abuse is, why haven't loads of people come forward and said Cliff abused me, or Tony Blair or Hillary Clinton or John Travolta or whoever. People can post what they like on the internet, there is no one stopping you; and if the abuse is on the scale people allege,there must be thousands of people out there that were abused by celebrities and politicians.

I know some stuff that is currently just conspiracy theories. That is literally all I can say. Sorry.

Yeah they would definitely be covering each other. I think the ones that were brought down after the Saville thing weren't in the real club. They were just coincidentally abusers who could take a fall and make it look like the police were doing something.

Because was anyone living connected to a Saville child abuse ring? Or were they isolates crimes.

What is not being comprehended is that with Savile people DID come forward to the appropriate authorities and it got shut down - repeatedly.

This has happened with others too.

Not everyone wants to go to the press and take the backlash from fans.

Just to add a little bit of fuel to the Peaches story, shortly before her death she did an interview on This morning part of the interview she just mentioned she was investigating the dark web and the sinister side to it - now bare in mind this was before people in the main stream had really heard of the dark web and what it contains. They asked her a few questions about it, but it wasn't what she was there to talk about, so it got left that it was something on going.

I didn't realise there was a conspiracy about her death, but that interview always stuck in my head
