Are there any conspiracy theories that you just think could have an element of truth?

I love all things conspiracy theory - from a psychological/social point of view it's interesting to see what makes people fearful or pessimistic.

But I often do see some conspiracy theories a bit like Urban legends in that they could be an exaggerated truth.

Are there any conspiracy theories or rumours that you just think 'maybe...' or even ones you're completely sold on.

27 pages and no one has discussed that Michael Jacksons death was allegedly faked and he is still alive

Maybe the thing about planes not flying in the Southern Hemisphere already used up the thread's entire stupidity quota.

I’ve just finished a book by a forensic pathologist who was involved in Diana’s inquest and reviewed all the post mortem materials.

He states with confidence that she died as a result of injuries sustained in a high speed car crash whilst not wearing a seatbelt. As did Dodi Fayed and Henri Paul.

Crashing into a concrete pillar at approximately 60mph will do that to you.

The survivor was wearing a seat belt. So if the conspiracy were to kill Diana it’s not exactly the most efficient way to go about it.... given that we have special forces who can kill quickly, cleanly and efficiently I can’t imagine anyone would use an RTA in an attempt to do away with her.

Lweji · 21/05/2019 17:57

Maybe someone hypnotised her not to wear a seat belt... Hmm

ilovesocks · 21/05/2019 18:00

I am placemarking so I can go through this whole thing later!

It's extraordinary how invested some people are with celebrities children. All the speculation about if X or Y are pregnant, and how far along, etc. Such people deserve to be lied to.

Are people really that interested though. We only know about celebs children when the parents want us all to know, I don't think anyone really cares about them tbh, there are many celebs who keep their kids private, as they should. As far as pregnant celebs go, who cares but they should at least be honest. instead of trying to make (some) women feel bad about their own bodies, which is basically what they do when they pretend they've got super slim a fortnight after giving birth. Women DON'T deserve to be lied to

Lweji · 21/05/2019 18:11

You clearly don't pay enough attention to celebrity gossip. Wink

Because I’m not bothered to dwell. I’m not as invested in this thread as you are. I just gave an opinion and time to move on!

I’m not scared of getting in trouble ! I just am suspicious of the whole situation and I can’t quite point a finger at it, certainly not in a decisive manner that I would wish to spread it to the world.

Because I could be wrong! However, the thread asks us about beliefs. And this is mine for now.

Ginburee · 21/05/2019 18:30

Bishop, neither do I but I did spend a few hours looking and some of the photos and info were interesting. It wouldn't surprise me of he was murdered.

theDudesmummy · 21/05/2019 18:46

I got pregnant naturally after 45. Doesn't prove anything though.

Sagradafamiliar · 21/05/2019 19:12

Given that MNHQ are compelled to publish the names and IP addresses to anyone who requests it via court order, I'm keeping it mostly zipped. Dismissing the Diana theory based on car accidents being an unreliable method of murder is naive, though. The car crash wouldn't have to have killed her, it just needed to happen. Everyone who came into contact with her, theoretically as it's a theory, could have been involved. Or maybe a well-placed few. Or maybe none at all.
I happen to believe it was a tragic accident.

Wow, thanks Nuno for the insult. I said allegedly and if you Google it there is a whole lot of crap out there on this conspiracy theory but thanks for putting your two pennyworth in.

NunoGoncalves · 21/05/2019 19:52

Wow, thanks Nuno for the insult

Just to be clear, it wasn't you I was calling stupid.

Firstimpressionsofearth · 21/05/2019 19:57

Not sure why all the cloak and dagger about Jill Dando but based on what's been said on this thread and a quick Google, I believe the theory is.....

Jill was killed because she was going to release info about someone called, let's say Hill Johnson the celebrated singer, being a massive pedo.

I also read Peaches Gedoff was killed for the same reason.

Tinyteatime · 21/05/2019 20:07

I can’t work out who the singer is meant to be Blush

SuePerbly · 21/05/2019 20:19

The car crash wouldn't have to have killed her, it just needed to happen

I am not following what you mean @Sagradafamiliar

Firstimpressionsofearth · 21/05/2019 20:20

Ok let's say - C Richard no wait that's too obvious, Cliff R.

I also learnt from my Google search that the above one who must not be named also had "relations" with Tony Blair, and Ester Ranson was part of the whole BBC pedo thing and set up childline to catch blabbing victims.

Firstimpressionsofearth · 21/05/2019 20:23

I do think that the same people that are part of these big pedo rings are also trying to normalise sex with children and make children more susceptible to sex.

You only have to listen to the lyrics of songs by popstars aimed at children.

Tinyteatime · 21/05/2019 20:24

Oh right, sorry. See what you did there.Thought there was another one! Yes I read about the childline thing.

Ginburee · 21/05/2019 20:27

Nuno, apologies to you. I read it the wrong way.

BlackForestCake · 21/05/2019 20:32

John Lennon was a government hit job. He wasn’t holding back with his anti war beliefs and the powers that be wanted him out of the way.

Lennon spoke out against the Vietnam war, yes, but that ended in 1975. Why kill him in 1980? Why didn't they kill him in 1972? Why did they give him a green card in 1976 if he was such a threat?

SemperIdem · 21/05/2019 20:44

Re 9/11 I think there is scope that it was known there was a terror threat but the scale and gravity of it was misunderstood. I don’t think it was deliberate on the part of the US govn and that they may have missed a chance to stop it makes it more tragic not less.

Diana is still alive? Hmm was she sociopath? What sort of person would allow their own children believe that their beloved mother had died? Bizarre.

Can someone forward me Bishop’s pm please?

I’d like to know who the man of the Taman Shud mystery was.

BeyondOverTheMoon · 21/05/2019 20:52
