So excited
It's a loft space that was boarded up
Need to find a torch

The big bedroom on the other side has a big drop down, not a metre but about a foot.
And under the kitchen floor there was about a metre space

Oh, Centre Parcs!

For a moment there I thought you were ripping holes in a holiday let! GrinGrinBlushGrinGrin

Jux · 22/02/2019 23:33

Wow!

Thanks for persevering with the bad wifi, and posting all that. It's fascinating.

littledoll33 · 23/02/2019 08:00

That's odd. I hope no-one is buried there. Sad

What you going to do with it?

endev · 23/02/2019 16:06

Don't think there's any bodies!
Can't really do anything unless I get a builder go look at it, and I've really had it with those type of sheisters recently

It's not a room OP. It's just a boarded up roof void with a service panel to attend to roof leaks, pipework that kind of thing.

Yabbers · 23/02/2019 18:04

Only one side of the room is totally finished and painted but the other is derelict?

maddiemookins16mum · 23/02/2019 18:26

Fgs, it’s where the clown lives, don’t you watch films.

justforthisnewname · 23/02/2019 18:59

Seriously I am still interested in that ironing board - did the lady ever find it in her flat? I can't find the original thread now.

Vivianebrezilletbrooks · 23/02/2019 19:02

----Ooh you've got me thinking OP!

That looks like a gorgeous house with all the mock Tudor fronting!

Please keep posting pictures!

I've never seen in our attic and we've been here since Oct 2017..next time my Uncle comes over I'm getting him to open the attic. It's a 1950s end terrace so I'm not expecting anything fantastic.
(Would love to find a box of 1980s Blue Jeans/Jackie/Patches magazines but the previous owners only moved here in 2000 so there's b**r all chance of that.)

endev · 23/02/2019 20:29

Sorry Tinkobell

Thanks Vivian
I do love it
It was a bit ott for my taste, but a lovely renovation and now I'm finished with my changes I'm very happy

Yabbers, yes, they've basically boarded up the loft space, but left about 3 metres of space, which I reckon 2m could be usable. 2m x 3m

I've left that cover off though, I might have unleashed the demagorgon or something

We had a secret section of our loft, you had to be very short to get round it. In 5 years I only went all the way in once and DH couldn’t fit. I just found old boxes of the bathroom tiles. When we left I put our old tins of paint in there so that they knew the colours. Should have planted something interesting like a model skeleton, shouldn’t I 😂

LordPickle · 25/02/2019 18:18

This is on the Mirror...that's how I came across the thread. No offence OP but wtf?

endev · 25/02/2019 19:54

Well they made that sound a lot more exciting than it was!
