Why do you have to drive to Center Parc (never trust any company that can’t spell its own name), when you have a secret room?

This happened to us.
Big 3 story house oposite Platt Fields park.
There was already a loft room at the front of the house.
Big old wardrobe left up there and when my dad moved it there was a hole in the wall....ended up making it into another bedroom .

An Platt Fields , my Grandparents used to live in Longsite,and we used to go there sometimes,.

Centre parcs?

This is the kind of thread that makes me despair of humanity. What kind of soulless depraved person would wall off a room and not leave something mysterious in there to find?

I loved living opposite the park.
We are talking 1970s and it was great back then.....pets corner,the boating lake,flower shows.
Man City had a training ground at the end and we could watch them through the fence

When I was a child, the property next door was empty for ages (property slump for a while I think). Anyhow this house was empty for a long time, several school holidays, we discovered our narrow arms could go in the letterbox and open the door.
We found a hidden room in the attic behind a wardrobe, there was bats in there, nothing much else apart from a hole in the roof.
