... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Christmas has well and truly started for meSmile

Looking forward to seeing how the Playmo peeps are celebrating this year and hopefully to pick up some trendy tips. Smile

ForalltheSaints · 01/12/2018 13:14

I think they should be moving the plant so the presents can be near the tree!

elephantoverthehill · 01/12/2018 13:15

This is the best sort of advent calendar. Thank you.

KeysHairbandNotepad · 01/12/2018 13:18

Yay!

Happy Christmas Marta and FranzSmile

DramaAlpaca · 01/12/2018 13:19

Fab! I'll be checking in every day Smile

AviatorShades · 01/12/2018 14:30

I love that they're got a manger scene already in situ, with a star over itStar

Friends had the 3 kings on their camels approaching their nativity scene..they moved the camels a bit nearer every night...awww..Smile

MiddlingMum · 01/12/2018 14:44

Yay, another Playmobil thread. For this reason alone Mumsnet exists. All the rest is froth and nonsense.

Really enjoyed the royal wedding ones, even as a life long republican.

AviatorShades · 01/12/2018 14:48

The street party after was a joy, wasnt it mum ? And those girls dancing round their handbags....unforgettableGrin

MrsTommyBanks · 01/12/2018 16:16

Pinkyponkcustard · 01/12/2018 16:19

JellicleCat · 01/12/2018 16:27

Mrsemcgregor · 01/12/2018 16:52

Yay!! Thank you!

shortsaint · 01/12/2018 17:10

A Playmo Thread. Woah!

SoMuchToBits · 01/12/2018 17:11

I'm glad you're all enjoying the advent calendar. I'll be posting every day between now and Christmas, although sometimes it might not be until the evening if I've been working all day.

Thank you for those who suggested a Christmas theme on the October Royal Wedding thread! It gave me a few ideas...

Flowers for you, OP. We all appreciate your Playmobil threads so much!

ForalltheSaints · 02/12/2018 11:48

Did they enjoy a good lie-in this morning, or have they not yet got back from church?

TimeIhadaNameChange · 02/12/2018 13:35

Brilliant! Thanks, OP!

And thanks to the Playmobil folk for letting themselves be photographed so much!

Effy1990 · 02/12/2018 14:56

This is brilliant. I missed the previous occasion and have done a search but can't find them.

Would someone be kind enough to post the relevant link(s)?

SoMuchToBits · 02/12/2018 16:38

It has been snowing in Lowbeach-on-Sea, and on Beany Hill, people are out snowboarding.

Akira has fallen off his snowboard, but the snow is soft and he hasn't hurt himself.

Thank god! Should they dial 111 JIC?

Answer “no!” Because in Lowbeach they’ve got their heads screwed on right.

emwithme · 02/12/2018 17:39

I think I might love you...

SoMuchToBits · 02/12/2018 18:18

Effy, the royal wedding threads from this year are in Mumsnet Classics. One was posted in May, the other in October.
