It's the Christmas season for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Thank you! I only bought him this year, and he is slightly different from the Archbishop of Ruggington, whom we acquired when ds was young.

Just discovered there is a Playmobil movie due out this summer!

LIZS it won't be a patch on the tableaux SoMuch has put together.

No for sure!

Haha, I'm sure it will be a lot better than my amateur attempts photographed on my dining table using a cheap point and shoot camera!

And a John Lewis sheet over a beanbag, Bits, bet they won't have one of those

You may be right about the sheet and beanbag...

They are not all put away yet. Norm and his mates live permanently in the dining room anyway, and I still have the Playmo nativity scene out (although it keeps evolving!) as I haven't taken the decorations down yet. And for some reason, Marta, Franz, Matthias and Emil seem to be visiting Norman and mates, still singing Christmas carols.

The other Christmas/winter people are in a box in my kitchen, which will be taken back to the summer house when I take down the nativity scene and add those people/accessories to the box.

Love Norman and friends! Especially that a couple of them have their cups of tea in hand! And Christmas cards!

The Christmas cards were sent by a friend of mine, Chessie. Every year she would send a card to me, and a miniature one for ds. Both hand drawn by her (she is very talented). We would always use the small one to decorate Norman's portakabin!

Yup Marta and Mattias are there together again in both scenes .. Its got to be love.. I'm rooting for them, they make a fab couple ( looks forward to next Playmo wedding and esp Marta's hen do ! - I loved the 'Playmogirls' dancing around their handbags at the last wedding ) .

Haha, unfortunately a wedding between Marta and Matthias would be very difficult to do, as they are not the type of Playmo people who can change their clothes! Unless they had an extremely informal winter wedding with Matthias wearing his Christmas jumper etc...

Anyway, I have now packed them away in the box together with the other Christmas/winter Playmo people. I think I need a bigger box for the winter stuff after adding to it in December. The lid would hardly shut!

They will just have to elope then and have the party after !!

I must get a life
