Ooh exciting events have occurred! Plasterer (who I've now decided is friendly but shy) just gave us a demo of his stilts! He won't be using them until tomorrow but seemed to realise I was keen! They have feet on the bottom so not exactly like children's stilts. They expand too! And aren't allowed on building sites any more

And he's shown me his tattoos (on his phone, not by stripping off). Great strides (pun intended) have been made.

Keyra this could be a great chick lit paperback...you should get pen to paper so we have something to read for next Christmas.

Could be a fun Friday, drinking gin while balancing on TP’s stilts, could be quite a good game, you could fall into CB arms

The neighbour of my formerly lovely neighbours just called round to the door. I thought he was coming to complain also but he had in fact come to invite me for Xmas drinks. I won't go (because formerly lovely neighbours are going) but I'm just relieved to be asked. And very kind of him to do so.

Cg only here fleetingly tomorrow - he's being very cagey about what he's up to instead. This is the point at which I find out he's married with 6 children isn't it? (He's not, he's divorced. Or so he says).

Unfortunately I can't cash in on his absence as I too have to be out all day. But I did give cb a box of chocolates (I get a lot of free chocolate) to give to his mum so hopefully that'll stand me in good stead (unless he thinks I'm trying to get friends with his mum).

For those of you suggesting three and foursomes - have mercy! It's been years since a twosome came my way and I'm not entirely confident I still know what goes where. If I ever again get the chance I'll be happy to report back though.

I've just remembered that the formerly lovely neighbours don't like the neighbours who have invited us to the Christmas drinks - last year they told them they couldn't make the drinks, and then hid in the dark all evening

The FLN (formerly lovely neighbours) can stay in the dark then! Make sure you go to Xmas drinks and take CG with you!!

Forgot to update on the Planning Officer - prob because there's not much to say. She was here and away again in about 15 mins. We can't do any more on the extension now until 21 Dec at the earliest. Which I suppose means the new year.

Cg is planning on strong words to Ra.

Pennina never fear - the extension may be on hold but the kitchen fitting is on the go. Cg claims it'll be ready for Christmas but I have my doubts. Dd said we should threaten to go to his for Xmas dinner as an incentive to get it done on time. I'm slightly worried that saying that may have the opposite effect.

So is DD in team CG?!

I am inspired to work our Christmas drinks around the chaps. The cg is going to to be a digestif, it just helps to settle everything else nicely. The TP is going to be a high alcohol count shot. The CB ( wait for it ... ) is going to be an aperitif ! MR MMA is going to work from home at the end of this week, someone must have snitched about Fridays.

Delurking to say go Team CG. He sounds delightful. I went on a date with a man with missing teeth once who was also strangely attractive with it. Turned out to be an utter twit though for want of a stronger word. Good job since I met my lovely DH not long after. Wonder why the tooth challenged are vaguely attractive? He was a mechanic too, also very not much my type of person. I don’t know what I was thinking. Moment of madness clearly.

Very little to report today as have been out til an hour ago. Cg appeared briefly this morning to give cb a list of jobs and to detach a radiator. When I left poor cb was out in the rain mixing up concrete :(

Tp was here too plastering away at a rate of knots - he's small but fast. I can't decide if he's unfriendly or shy.

Boilerman reappeared briefly a little while ago. Not entirely sure why - he seemed to be complaining about ee but I couldn't quite understand why (he talks really fast and there's only so many times one can ask for a repeat).

Gosh whatdoidonow I wish! I could see myself on set somewhere, consulting on all sorts, particularly on casting options - I'd have to carefully consider a lot of contenders for cb all the principals.

Cg has texted me this evening to say that cb rang him earlier and was apparently questioning him on his whereabouts today - as cg was elsewhere all day, and as I was also out all day, cb has concluded we were together somewhere

Oh no! He can't think that! Although a little competition may lead him into earth shatteringly romantic action
