Merci, Petite. :)

MmeLindor - that would be brill :)

At the moment we are particular looking for features and rants - we will have things like recipes, crafts, art and even the dreaded reviews (with a very strict eye kept out for blagblogging, of course) but we're only doing one post a day till december when we launch properly so the bigger posts suit that format I think.

But really, anything well written, as long as it isn't wildly out of step, will find a place. The whole thing is meant to have a variety of voices, so the more writers, the better. Especially experienced bloggers.

There are some guidelines on the site here and if you are still interested, let me know.

You know I love your blog anyway Grin

ScatCatShoo · 26/11/2011 06:25

SoE, I am working on a recipe at the moment. Will email it to you either Mon or Tue, and you can let me know if you think it will work for the site?

ScatCatShoo · 26/11/2011 06:26

MmeG, better watch the Gunners tomorrow, you seem to be their lucky charm :-)

Tee2072 · 26/11/2011 08:26

I Don't Hurt (Much)!!

MmeGuillotine · 26/11/2011 10:46

ScatCat - I will definitely be watching! They'd better win! :)

SEO
Would you be interested in my apprenticeships blog post here or do you only want new posts?

If I write something for you, do you prefer me not to put it on my blog, or just a quick taster with link to your blog?

MmeLindor. · 26/11/2011 12:53

I commented on my Nespresso machine on Twitter this morning, and a few people asked whether I liked it. So I finally got around to doing the blog review that I had been planning for a while.

Nespresso Review

I have never done a vlog before, so that was quite nerve-wracking.

SenseofEntitlement · 26/11/2011 13:25

Mmelindor - that post would be brill.

While completely new posts are better, as obviously new things mean more readers who read your blog will come to look at CH and hopefully stay for the other things as well, reposts are absolutely fine, and in fact I think about 50% up to now is reposts (although that number is reducing as we get more posts and writers on board). The main thing though is that it is something that CH readers will like and that it is written well.

With regards to putting things on your blog, it is fine if you want to, but again it is better if you can refrain from putting the full thing up straight away, just to make it worthwhile for your readers to come and have a look at CH.

Am I right in thinking you have a wordpress username? Or am I making that up? Either way, if you let me have your email address or wp username, I can send you an invite to be a registered contributor and so you can get properly credited, have your profile etc. It's also easier to do the whole editing/formatting/approving thingy on the system.

Have PMed you, SEO.

If you are interested (I know 30 in a row is A LOT!), but I have posted my next 10 reasons I am thankful for the people, places, things, and events from this year.

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2011 16:02

There was a great article in the Guardian today - a Q&A for David Cameron. I have blogged about it today.

Avoid busy shopping centres when you're Xmas shopping (especially next Wednesday when schools will be on strike!) - try shopping local to save money, stress and parking charges. I love my local shops!
