Yes, you were in my spam folder. As was a comment from FB, strangely enough.

I have so many things that I want to blog about atm, and not enough days. Maybe I should write them down and then I have a quick and easy post for antoher day.

Lately, I have found that I am becoming more topical though, commenting on what is in the news rather than general parenting issues.

PetiteRaleuse · 21/11/2011 12:19

Woo I have never been blacklisted before... as a spammer what's more.

There's so much in the news at the moment to whine rant about. There are days when I'm very uninspired but Cameron Clegg and DSK are wonderful fodder

That's what I do, MmeL - have a big long list and sometimes write three or four posts in one day and schedule them Grin

SallyDon · 21/11/2011 12:40

I can see two empty houses from where I am sitting. Empty and not bringing in council tax either.

FlamingoBingo · 21/11/2011 12:43

My post today looks like it might break my record for hits on a single post! It's currently 845, but for the last two hours, I've had over 200 hits per hour! Keep this up and it may reach 1000 or more! Keep your fingers crossed for me girls (and the odd boy) Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 21/11/2011 12:44

Well done FB

SouthernandCross · 21/11/2011 12:57

fiddlerintheloft · 21/11/2011 13:08

After several days radio silence, I've posted about how much you should practise if you want to get any better at playing an instrument ? would love some thoughts from those of you with good time management skills

TheLastChocolate · 21/11/2011 13:19

I have put up a short post about my role volunteering in Women's Aid. Planning to do more topical posts over the coming week - start of Dec about Women's Aid, violence and stats.

Was going to rant about politics this afternoon but then I got yet another sales call and have decided to have a temper tantrum

Congrats FB! Skim read it but will be back to read it properly and bump up your stats even more (not that that's why we write etc etc) Wink

I wrote about some of the pros and cons of the MN home ed thread, and some lovely positive coverage of an HE family in the news.

home education in the news and on mumsnet

Think my not-very-snappy titles need some work! Hmm

FlamingoBingo · 21/11/2011 14:34

Thanks, notatschool Grin

I'm at 668 now, and still got hours til the end of the day. So fun when you post a real corker :D

piouslady · 21/11/2011 14:55

Style dilemma:
what does a fashion-conscious tomboy wear these days?

FlamingoBingo · 21/11/2011 16:25

Did it! 1,070 now! Am totally in shock! Shock

MmeGuillotine · 21/11/2011 16:42

A review of The Winter's Sea by Susanna Kearsley - full of hot Jacobite action and ruined Scottish castles and stuff.

Trills · 21/11/2011 17:19

Hello all.

Off to read and leave a few comments.

JoanneMallon · 21/11/2011 20:22

I have rounded up some hideous Christmas tat on my blog. You can tell my blog is not exactly deep.

ScatCatShoo · 21/11/2011 20:45

Well done FB. Its an incredibly well written post!

Lifeofanexpatparent · 21/11/2011 21:58

Thanks SallyDon! I am really hoping. Feeling better today. Less tears, but still up and down. Must get myself into thankful mode in preparation for Thursday. :)

DillyTante, I don't have an example, unfortunately, because I am making it up as I go along (maybe that is my mistake). I am cutting leaves out of felt to attach to some shelves in The Duchess' room, just to add some pizazz. I can't decide how to attach the felt leaves together and then to attach them to the shelves though! This is clearly an ill-formed plan.

DillyTante · 21/11/2011 22:17

Glue gun?

droitwichmummy · 21/11/2011 22:21

Hello, I'm new here!

I'll add my latest post to the pile. My blog is about my depression andis basically somewhere for me to keep track of my mood and get things off my chest (I'm big on bottling things up in rl)

I'm really looking forward to reading your blog TheLastChocolate. I have contact with our local WA through work and take a huge interest in all things DV.

daisymama · 21/11/2011 22:23

Trying to cope when we know time is limited with our daughter

overmydeadbody · 21/11/2011 22:27

I'd second a glue gun for the felt leaves.

I just made a quick money apron for my upcoming stall at the Made-It market on Saturday.

MiloandAmeliasMummy · 21/11/2011 22:29

Been so busy with craft markets and business that have not posted for a few days. Tonight in my hour off i made mincemeat ready for Crimbo. Easy peasy mincemeat recipe... why buy your own when making it tastes this good and can be this easy
