Anyone?

I will start off with a link to my latest post, a part of the story of Beth (formerly known as Dora) who moved to Geneva to escape a relationship turned sour.

This is NOT me, by the way. I have drawn on my knowledge of Geneva but it is not an autobiograpy :)

Lula, have just commented, although for some reason my WP name won't show up properly. Am now starving after reading your post. Better get some food before I dare click on Scat's.

Tee2072 · 27/06/2011 20:09

Britmums used to be British Mummy Bloggers, if you've heard of it that way, DM.

DirtyMartini · 27/06/2011 20:21

Scat, I have just read your latest post - it is so interesting, really good - I love the picture of Mai, too. But I am trying to lose weight right now (am on WW) and you & Lula are not helping

MintyB, just had a quick look at yours and it looks like you get loads of comments (so presumably loads of traffic!) - well done! And welcome to MN. I haven't left comments for either of you two just now, but will definitely check in again.

DirtyMartini · 27/06/2011 20:39

Thanks Tee. Still no! Am not very plugged in to other mumming sites at all

DirtyMartini · 27/06/2011 22:38

Just in case anyone feels I haven't posted enough on this thread tonight Hmm I have a post here and I am in fact very proud to have pulled something out of the bag this evening. I didn't think I would manage it Grin

Wow, DM. Amazing. And scary. Smile You should post it here some where for people who don't read your blog!

ScatCatShoo · 28/06/2011 06:43

Hiya all, thank you. I've been reading your posts too, and am really enjoying them. Was so sad at GentleOtter's post :-(

MmeLindor, enjoyed your post on Cybermummies etc. Funny eh? I was thinking about that sometime ago, and you said just what I was thinking!

DM, thank you .Y'know there are a bunch of low fat recipes on there too. DH is getting fat, so time to scale down again ;-) Loved your latest post. Laughed at a few bits, too and shook my head lots!!

Tee, that's such a cute story :-)

ScatCatShoo · 28/06/2011 06:48

My twitter is @michpetersjones by the way. I moved from England to Canada and am really missing Mumsnet :)

eastendmummy · 28/06/2011 14:11

This thread is great, and I'm enjoying reading all of your blogs. All of the recipes though are too bloody tempting and I'm trying to eat less but failing miserably! ScatCatShoo - your blog is great, have just read it for the first time. I can't say that I'm tempted by offal though, despite your best attempts! I've just written a post inspired by going to see a cranial osteopath with my 3 year old who has development delay and sensory integration disfunction. It was so interesting, and so, well weird really. here's the link new blog

NEW POST
The Promised Lamb Recipe.

You know what? Since the start of the Bloggers Network, I am blogging (and writing) much more.

MissM
I try not to write about anyone in a way that would identify them, and use initials on blog. Sometimes not the real initials. Pictures only non-identifiable and always ask first. Some people can be VERY touchy about being on the www. A friend of mine flipped her lid when a mutual friend posted some videos to Youtube of our meeting, including her dancing. They were only visible to a select group of friends, not open to the public at all, but she went apeshit. And that was a good friend. I don't risk losing friends over something like internet privacy.
