Erm, because I was invited. Maybe you should question the forum/website owners' motives if you don't quite agree with that. Shame there's such conflict here.

and FYI when @mumsnetbloggers and @mumsnettowers INVITE bloggers to apply to become part of their network via an online application process, I view that as an invitation, don't you?

Or are you just determined to try and spread the "discussion" out over more than one thread so that you can try to make me look like an idiot?

Truetype, you are more than welcome to post your link here, just like any other member of the network. I still think your intro was OTT and inappropriate, but if MN has accepted you into the network, so be it.

Although, I am confused. Did MN actually contact you to join or did you follow a link from somewhere announcing the network? Just looking to clarify. If they accepted you, obviously they think you have something interesting to say.

And yes, I blogged about last night.

Oh please let's keep the aggro to one thread, can't we? Is usual form to keep threads from intertwining. Would hate to see this one descend into incivility as well, particularly as so many people on here were not involved in the other thread.

MissMary -- I just tried to click on your link and my antivirus blocked it with a Trojan Horse warning and a robotic voice announcing "THREAT HAS BEEN DETECTED". Obv never had this before when visiting your blog, but maybe something is up with that page?

I think I'm clear ... virus software said it had blocked and then I closed Firefox, ran CCleaner, shut down and restarted...

OWO, if you can, try downloading CCleaner? Is free and v good supplement to antivirus/firewall. Clears out all lurking rubbish in moments.

Of all the blogs for malware to latch onto -- it has to be one with such a good cause Really hope it is easily sorted, Miss Mary.

Good god, I've only just realised I've broken a rule. I am not part of the blogging network and have been merrily linking my blog on this thread. I thought it was just a thread for anyone blogging. Well, MNHQ can delete my posts when they want to.

You don't have to be part of the blogging network bullet, just part of mumsnet. This is a small corner of a much bigger forum. The blogging network is slightly different.
