Time for a new specialism, methinks!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 21:52

Spiro, that was an inspired choice. Maud will thud mightily when she see it.

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 22:05

Good choice Spiro, now where should we put the kettle?

PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 22:16

Tee hee, love the new title! :) And how fabulous that the delightful photo is now here for easy reference! And I managed to be last in the old thread, by sneaky means :)
Agreed, definitely a Porter one next time.

Just watched Spooks 8.7 - can't believe there is only one more episode and then we've watched them all! This little obsession started with real-time Spooks 9 last year and now we've worked our way through Series 1 to 8 and it's almost over :(

Night night.

SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 22:20

You can always watch them all over again from the beginning, Twiggy! Goodnight!

PassTheTwiglets · 17/02/2011 22:26

I would but I doubt DrTwiglets would... I may just persuade him to do S9 again though - now that we know what had preceeded it and so can watch it in context. And watch "close your eyes" again.

TheSmallPrint · 17/02/2011 22:36

Ooh I'll go to bed with those words in my head Twigs. Night all.

SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 22:37

Night, Small. I won't need to wish you sweet dreams now, will I?

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 17/02/2011 22:54

OMG

Have you seen this?

Clickie

DumSpiroSpero · 17/02/2011 22:57

Bless! Actually he reminds me a bit of a guy I was at school with in that pic.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 23:02

Bless indeed.

DumSpiroSpero · 17/02/2011 23:13

DD is up - that's put paid to me watching any more Ultimate Force tonight!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 23:21

Oh dear, Spiro. Perhaps you will have better luck tomorrow. Is she okay, other than wakeful?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/02/2011 23:34

::Staggers in, having consumed a vast amount of sub-Chateau Gizzy. It tasted like nail varnish remover, but what the heck::

Shall I go and get the crate?

SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 23:38

Are you sure you have the energy tonight, Maud? You an always leave it till tomorrow if you are tipsy tired.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 17/02/2011 23:38

Yes - bring the crate in !!!! What the hell, even if it does taste like nail varnish remover - let's get sozzled!!

BTW Mr Phoenix has just showed me his new SFX mag with a significant look - I am just wondering if there is anything in there I might be interested in...investigation will be required...I didn't get a close look...

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 17/02/2011 23:41

Oh, I think I was wrong about the mag...

SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 23:45

What a disappointment, Phoenix. Let's write SFX a stiff e-mail for ignoring our interests

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/02/2011 23:46

::Staggers up the narrow stone staircase to the senior common room, this time carrying a vast crate::

Huff! Puff! Right, this time we have

The Faculty Michelangelo

A recent treatise from the Department of Equestrian Studies

A prospectus from the School of Fashion Design (Gloves and Leather Goods Department) and

A slide from the recent presentation in the Department of Industrial Relations on Cotton and Steel: The Will To Succeed in 19th Century Business^

::collapses, exhausted::

SupermassiveLBD · 17/02/2011 23:53

I hesitate to offer you another Wine, Maud, after the bibulous time you seem to have had, but thank you so much for all that hard work, just now. It is much appreciated.

What happened to the Caravaggio?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/02/2011 00:05

Due to some sloppy cataloguing, I seem to have mislaid the priceless Caravaggio, but I have found this unlabelled masterpiece. Is this it?

SupermassiveLBD · 18/02/2011 00:12

I think it is! How wonderful!

SupermassiveLBD · 18/02/2011 00:14

I have to leave on that note. I hope I don't seem ungrateful but I am going cross-eyed again.

Goodnight and sweet dreams, Maud, and Phoenix, too, if you are still around

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/02/2011 00:19

PS For committed pogonophiles, search Google images for "RA" [in full obviously] and Macbeth. The first image that comes up has it all - profile, beard, military uniform - but for reasons I don't understand won't open as an image that I can link to here.

::swoon::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/02/2011 00:19

Good night all!

::Lapses into unconsciousness::

PassTheTwiglets · 18/02/2011 07:19

Was it this one, Maud? When I searched it was about the 5th image along, the first image was sans beard.

MissTwiglets is learning about Macbeth and she loves 'Guy'... maybe we should find a way to combine these two things...

Tee hee - she saw the Macbeth pic I just linked to and she said "oooh, can you bookmark that photo?" :o

Off for school run duties and will be back anon.
