Time for a new specialism, methinks!

Anybody else want the Sylvester discs then?
They are a bit of a pain to use but they're only going in the bin if not.

TheSmallPrint · 18/02/2011 15:53

I'll have it please?

TheSmallPrint · 18/02/2011 15:57

OMG Twigs not only are they born on practically the same day THEY HAVE THE SAME NAME!!!

Lovely pics btw,I like the purple bits but would never be brave enough to try it. I like DDs haircut too.

TheSmallPrint · 18/02/2011 16:03

Thank you for the Disney info that's really, really helpful (thank you Maud for your tips too!), we are West of London so Eurostar easy for us. How do you go out of holidays? Our school Do Not Like It, are yours more flexible?

Those screencaps were just fabulous btw. at those gorgeous eyes.

TheSmallPrint · 18/02/2011 16:03

I can swap you SB if you haven't got it yet?

PassTheTwiglets · 18/02/2011 17:09

Sure Small, I'll post it to you if you PM me your address. Thansk for the offer of Strike Back but I have got a copy of that now though.

How BIZARRE about the same name!!! Is yours actually the full version of the name, or is he the shortened version? My DS is actually called the short version and it's going to drive him mad in the future when people assume he's really the long version - if that makes sense :)

Glad you liked the screencaps - I'm going to have to watch that scene again later!

Our school are really good at letting you take holidays in term time unless you're in Y6. You can take up to 10 days. By the way, not sure if this is the same in all LEAs but with ours the worst that can happen is that each parent can get fined £50 per child if unauthorised leave is taken - so you may have to pay £100 but you'd save hundreds more on the cheaper holiday :) My mum works in education welfare and she says it hardly ever gets as far as being fined though. I am on a Disney forum and I can ask them when is the quietest time if you have to go in school holidays, if you like...

PassTheTwiglets · 18/02/2011 17:09

And des that mean you didn't manage to sell SB it on eBay then, Small?

DumSpiroSpero · 18/02/2011 17:22

Aaaaaarrrrrgh!!!!

Have just resorted to microwaving the dregs of the mulled wine left over for Christmas Confused!

40 minutes til Rainbows
3 hours til Wine o'clock!

Desperate times call for desperate measures, eh, Spiro? My sympathies.

I am still holding out against going to bed, but I may succumb any time... Sad

I am loving the photos, Twiggy, what an adorable family you have.

PassTheTwiglets · 18/02/2011 17:37

Hang in there, Spiro! However, I'm damned if I'm waiting 3 hours :)

PassTheTwiglets · 18/02/2011 17:38

Thanks, Massive. They are adorable in photos but not in RL :o

DumSpiroSpero · 18/02/2011 17:38

Is the time similar to ours where you are? I got the impression you're a but ahead this morning.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 18/02/2011 17:38

...or even a bit...

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 18/02/2011 17:40

Re your boys names Twigs and Small - that's my fave boys name (not that I'm likely to get to use it) and my Dad is the long version!!!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 18/02/2011 17:45

If that 'ahead' comment was to me, Spiro, I am indeed. But I wouldn't normally go to bed this early, it's just that I'm ailing, slightly.

DumSpiroSpero · 18/02/2011 17:48

Will probably not be back til 9-ish our time so if you've conceded defeat by then, hope you're feeling better soon.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 18/02/2011 18:01

Thanks, friend. I hope your outing isn't too tedious. And know I can leave our boys safely in your care, when you get back.

DumSpiroSpero · 18/02/2011 18:08

Oh God Massive - am not going to be there that long! Drop off at 6, pick her up at 7 - we are then getting into jim jams and having a Wizards of Waverley Place (Disney channel) marathon and painting our nails until 9pm (or hopefully 8.30 - which reminds me - must change the clocks Grin)

Good to see Lucas has trained you well in covert ops.

Grin

I'm a great student - I always really pay attention!

SupermassiveLBD · 18/02/2011 18:26

I just bet you hang on his every word.

''Read my lips''

Oh yes please

DumSpiroSpero · 18/02/2011 18:33

I do a hell of a lot more than 'read' his lips if I ever got the chance.

Teachers Pet - that's me!

Is any one else following this thread.

Totally non-Armitage related but v. funny and our our old mate LeQueen has popped up on it a few times.

PassTheTwiglets · 18/02/2011 20:02

Spiro, is you in your lessons

Re. the name, the long version is a family name - was one grandad's name and the other's middle name, and my dad and brother have it as a middle name too. I love the long version as well but like the short one even more. My kids are going to hate me for their name choices - nobody can spell or pronounce DD's name and everyone will think DS has the long name. Hey ho, them's the breaks!

How are you doing now, Massive?

Spiro, I did start reading that thread a while back but I didn't actually follow it. Did she go out with her boss or not - was there a happy ending?

PassTheTwiglets · 18/02/2011 20:03

"this is you", meant to say...
