as to the identity of Liz Jones mystery rock star lover? Apologies if I am repeating a thread but just read today's 'wingefest' and can't believe its anything other than a work of fiction.

yes, and i read her other columns too for my sins. Did you see she was in Tescos actually smiling and saying nice things about the staff. Its true...theres pics to prove it, perhaps this lovin is turning her into a person...????

PC would struggle with growing enough hair for a crewcut. Surely even Liz would run a mile from him anyway? He is the charmer who dumped his wife by fax to run off with a woman half his age (they too have since divorced). Its JK, I'm sure of it. The grey hair thing is being taken too literally, at his age he'd have at least a smattering and she gets very close

"In which the rock star kisses me"....The waitress came over (This was on a short break to a hotel in Norfolk)oh my god she said, are you Liz Jones?....find this waitress...(joking)
"In which we do the deed"....It was really weird being manhandled by someone who is thinner than i am.
"In which we hit the right note"....I reminded him that one of my favourite songs of his was about him falling in love with his first wife.
"In which we get personal"....Anyway, tell me Mr Big Shot, did you ever have a so-called fling and send grammaticaly correct but deeply betraying texts to other women when you were married? He went completely pale and the he turned as red as the candles...

Has there been offical confirmation that LJ is with JK? I had no clue who LJ was, I must look out for her next time I get the mail at the gym. How has JK got so much money, simple minds though before my time, were not that big surley?

The thing with Simple Minds, if I remember correctly, they cracked America. In those days if you had a number one single in America you were made for the rest of your life. And that bloody Dont you Forget About Me was surely number one everywhere? Minds make hardly any money these days, the money is in the touring, of which Simple Minds are embarking on. Maybe we will see her in a field somewhere watching him?

I assume he invested very well, although he does have two ex wives!

So why did Patsy Kensit have to work in Emerdale all those years, leaving the kids with nannies in London, you would think JK or Liam Gallagher would be paying large child support rather than the kids Mum be living with a nanny Monday to Friday as they were Hmm

Because she wanted to be independant? Because she is into acting and it was a good part to play. It might not have been Monday to Friday, they might have had the same nanny all their lives, their fathers couldve been with them all week what did you want her to do, send them to boarding school?

If he was the main songwriter then kerching! IIRC Simple Minds songs were used heavily in brat pack type movies and are still used in ads etc. even if its just the opening bars, this can make loads. He is also as Scot and canny Grin
