as to the identity of Liz Jones mystery rock star lover? Apologies if I am repeating a thread but just read today's 'wingefest' and can't believe its anything other than a work of fiction.

Sorry Howard Jones but my money is now on Phil Collins.

Agree ,rickety,that if someone offered you an exotic holiday, Christmas dinner cooked and put up with all your crapola etc that it is not to be sniffed at.

Peter Frampton was a huge rock star in his day. He is also vegan....

Peter Frampton's only been divorced twice. Of course LJ could be changing some details to put people off the scent. I've never heard of him either.

I think when she says giant children she just means grown up. Its a phrase she's used before.

But it can't be a vegan rock star. Just read today's article and in it he says that he's told his cook to read up on vegan recipes. Which means his cook doesn't normally cook vegan.

Also he lives on a farm as he says he'll get his assistant to look after his farm animals.

Is Howard Jones rich/famous enough to have a full time assistant and a full time cook?

Yes she definitely says 'giant' meaning grown-up. It's a sort of adjective at the same time as a subtle cuss, isn't it. Because she can't seem to be pleasant about much.

I dont think HJ has the money for personal staff and Christmas in the Carribean so, it points to Phil Collins.

Phil Collins has a home in Norfolk, but, she did say when they were in Paris that they were able to have drinks on the terrace cos he was not that well known there. I can't imagine Phil Collins not being well known in France, or anywhere for that matter.
And, how tall is he? I get the impression that she is tall, could be wrong, does anyone know?
I didn't realise Liz meant grown up when she said giant, but I think she does not care very much for children, giant or otherwise.
A lot of the other stuff doesn't point to Phil, he is not particulary skinny, didn't wear leggings as far as i can remember, oh well, not giving up !!!!!
