Cracks me up that so many people get their knickers in a twist about you being 1500 calories or whatever under your recommended intake whilst frantically improving your health whilst they wouldn’t give a shit if you were 1500 calories over your recommended daily intake. Well done OP! I’m so happy for you! 👏👏👏

Thankyou so much 💓

@Differentstarts
Because I knew it would be harder to lose weight with hypothyroidism and I needed to do it quickly as my cardiologist wanted to put me on statins and up my bisoprolol. So I made a deal with him I said give me 6 months and I will lower my cholesterol and bp naturally then if I haven't I will take them.

I think you've done brilliantly, OP. You have a plan, you've thought it through, you're taking medical advice and you've been able to stick to it. Well done, particularly for achieving the health benefits you've already achieved.

It's also impressive that you've managed to remain so calm and courteous in the face of so many negative responses 💪👍

you do realise you are not going to be able to keep that off, right?

Bollocks, All depends how you put the weight on in the first place. Gradual weight gain over 30 years then you will not put it all back on rapidly.

no matter how you gained weight originally light exercise and being careful about what you eat will keep your weight down.

God, if only that were true for me.

Obviously you can't go back to how you ate before you need a plan for maintenance

How many weeks in and how many weeks left OP?
How much have you lost so far and how much more would you like to lose on the very calorie controlled bit?

I’ve had a look at the diet online. Can you have 4 sachets a day only or can you have a snack as well? I’m trying to figure it out. Their 3 week meal plan seems to include snacks but everything else I’ve read has said 4 sachets per day only, and nothing else other than 250ml skimmed milk.

The reviews are pretty good though, people losing lots of weight really quickly.

It's 4 sachets and an optional snack every day. Good luck if that's what you decide to do

Part of the success (or maybe most of it) I imagine is due to removing your choices. Shall I have this or shall I not. Shall I have a small bit or a medium bit. Shall I just have one square of chocolate, milk in my tea etc endless decisions.
What do you think OP?
I’d love a 6 week calorie controlled program that met my needs (not this one as it wouldn’t suit me)

It's very convenient as the meals take minutes to make and you don't have to measure or calorie count. I think its a good boost to get you motivated to follow calorie counting and healthy eating after. Also losing a few stone has made exercise easier. I think it got me out of a rut and has given me energy, motivatio and improved my mh so I'm now able to start cooking from scratch again and spending time shopping and cooking as before I was to unwell to do any of that. I wouldn't say for me so much the choice thing as its still a choice every day to eat this stuff instead of actual food and it's still a choice not to snake some chocolate or a few of the kids chips when I'm cooking for them.

@Differentstarts can you explain why fruit tea (zero calories) and zero calorie fizzy drinks are forbidden? Surely it’s just another way of drinking water but a little less boring? Or am I being totally thick? I see they sell fruit flavourings to add to water. Isn’t that the same as iced fruit tea?

I have bitten the bullet and ordered the 3 week plan (yikes at the cost!) but your success is inspiring and I really need a kickstart.

A friend of mine is on Mounjaro which is a similar cost and she’s lost 45lbs in 3 months. I don’t want to go down the injectables route though.

Thanks for reading my long lament about tea ☕️

You can have coke zero or dr pepper zero once a week I think the fruit tea is to do with knocking people out of ketosis I personally don't worry about stuff like that and just use it as a low calorie diet. Have you joined the Facebook page yet as it explains it all on their. Good luck on your Journey 🥰
