In line to the throne, but not by several hundred thousand so not worth googling.

I have interesting dress sense.

AMA.

Sailing 😂😂😂

Bouledeneige · 17/07/2018 21:59

Sailing! Thats it then.

I was in the school show jumping team... Oh no. It was rounders.

Clionba · 17/07/2018 22:49

I just looked those women up - Lady Marina is excluded from the line as you say, because she's RC. Her younger sister Lady Amelia (the model) is 38th.
The OP is not in line to the throne.

AlmostAMinorRoyal · 18/07/2018 09:07

Does anyone else wonder what would have happened if Wallis had had a child?

OP posts:
MrsJayy · 18/07/2018 09:17

Nothing would have happened if Wallis simpson had a baby because of abdication and her being a divorcee the baby wouldn't have sucsession (sp)

FourFriedChickensDryWhiteToast · 18/07/2018 09:20

Wallis couldn't have had a child because she had an intersex condition. anyway as Mrs Jayy said,,,

MrsJayy · 18/07/2018 09:23

Did she really have an intersex condition ?

FourFriedChickensDryWhiteToast · 18/07/2018 09:25

it's certainly a possibility ………

sorry for Daily Mail link ..:)

neurotransmittens · 18/07/2018 09:27

On reading the title post ‘I’m Almost Royal AMA’ I thought oh it’s Samantha Markle Grin

Clionba · 18/07/2018 16:48

Good one, neurotransmittens!
I've read quite a lot about Wallis and Edward (they fascinate me!). I don't know how probable the intersex thing was. Some sources just say she was a bit androgynous, others that she was infertile from an abortion. Who knows? She continues to intrigue.
Unlike the OP 😂 😂!

ThePrioryGhost · 18/07/2018 17:16

Clionba - have you read the Laurie graham novel “gone with the Windsors”? If you like that period of history, it’s a very clever witty fictionalised telling of it Smile

Clionba · 18/07/2018 17:54

@ThePrioryGhost ooh thanks for that recommendation! I've only read non fiction about them, but I'll have a look for that, cheers.

Fintress · 18/07/2018 18:07

So are you saying Edward had a child on the side before/when he was married to Wallis? And through that you are related to Royalty?

Clionba · 18/07/2018 18:13

Edward didn't father any children, in or out of wedlock. Does the OP mean Edward V?

AlmostAMinorRoyal · 18/07/2018 19:42

Edward I
Edward II
EdwardIII
Edward IV
Edward V
Edward VI
Edward VII

OP posts:
Clionba · 18/07/2018 19:46

I'm guessing descendent of some illegitimate offspring of Edward I or II, Right?

OrangeMarshmellows · 18/07/2018 20:22

FYI
I also buy Himalayan pink sea salt, from my local B&M. How royal am I! Wink

SandAndSea · 18/07/2018 20:33

I worked with a woman who was in Debrett's. She was really hard work. Entitled, difficult, highly strung and fake.

Are personality types as varied in the RF as with commoners? Do you get many genuinely kind, authentic people in the RF?

Also, what would happen if you were indiscreet? Would you fear for your life?

P00ka · 18/07/2018 21:55

HA HA! at the suggestion of Samantha Markle. Very funny!

My sister used to drink in a pub with lots of hanging flower baskets. There was an old lady who used to drink in there who said she was the Queen Mother.

AlmostAMinorRoyal · 19/07/2018 06:45

That can't be right @FrancisCrawford , people are always calling me a Right Royal PITA, although why they align me with pita bread is beyond me. Must be the Greek connection via Prince Philip.

OP posts:
Fintress · 19/07/2018 08:36

Stop saying you are related to Royalty
So for those who were hoping that they were descended from Bronze Age monarchy, I have good news and bad news. Whether or not this chieftain existed, you probably are descended from royalty. The problem is, so is everyone else.

MrsJayy · 19/07/2018 08:59

I am begining to think the Op is yanking our chain nobody is that vague and flakey

Clionba · 19/07/2018 16:45

I was hoping it was a humorous one, but the OP isn't just a non- royal, they're not even interesting or witty either, like some. I'm enjoying the points made by other people, though!
