In line to the throne, but not by several hundred thousand so not worth googling.

I have interesting dress sense.

AMA.

Yeah, stop being so vague.

Royallypissedoff1 · 16/07/2018 23:47

this is so obviously bull but I keep reading anyway Grin

Flaminghaggis · 16/07/2018 23:47

“Ask me anything as long as it’s not about being a minor royal”

Royallypissedoff1 · 16/07/2018 23:50

^ 😂😂😂😂
'Ask me anything...but not that'

LEMtheoriginal · 16/07/2018 23:56

Op are you related to vera duckworth?

Imhertwopennyprince · 16/07/2018 23:58

OP on a scale from 1 to minor royal, how much of a minor royal are you?
No porkies this time!

Backinthebox · 17/07/2018 09:18

I live next door but one to Carole and Michael Middleton. I've sat next to Carole in the pub, and we see George and Charlotte at the local petting farm. And I was one the personal guest at a major event of a duke. I think this probably makes me about 7th in line to the throne. Grin

AlmostAMinorRoyal · 17/07/2018 09:24

Ok. I am a distant descendant of Queen Victoria but have dropped off the line of succession. Unless a very terrible thing happened and the English/Swedish/Spanish families all flew into space and never came back, then I will never step onto the balcony at BP in a hat. Don't google, you'll never find me. I've tried it and only the direct grand, gg, ggg, ggggggggggchiildren appear, not second cousins multiple times removed.

I like Waitrose but I do find that the quality of the store depends on the local manager. I've got three near me but the local branch is dire (bad fruit & veg, stale bread, staff holding meetings about targets and sales techniques in the frozen pea section - go and get a meeting room!). My local Tesco is OK and they sell Himalayan pink sea salt so I shop there instead).

I meet RF bods in social settings. Can't say any more.

DH has an ancestral seat which opens up for private tours but we are not the family in situ.

IvyFluids · 17/07/2018 10:26

Maybe we are related?
My relative was the Duke of Argyle, the one that married Princess Louise (Victoria's daughter). Since they had no children the title went to a cousin.

No title, no money and I live in the antipodes.
I did attend boarding school, have elocution and deportment lessons and wish I had a butler.

AornisHades · 17/07/2018 10:45

How can you be a descendant but not a 'direct grand, gg, ggg, ggggggggggchiildren'?
Not being sarcastic just trying to understand.

MrsJayy · 17/07/2018 10:53

I don't understand the descendant thing either Q V had no recognised siblings but had 10 children so how can you be fromQV ? I realise I am probably being dense

dontbesillyhenry · 17/07/2018 11:25

I have dellusions of grandeur ask me anything

AlmostAMinorRoyal · 17/07/2018 11:32

OK. You've got me. Wrong side of the sheets Blush. I told you I was "almost".

OP posts:
MrsJayy · 17/07/2018 11:35

Ah if you had just told us that we don't live in scandalised society any more we would have coped with the knowledge

susurration · 17/07/2018 11:43

This is utterly ridiculous. You're not almost royal at all Grin

I think I've seen Prince Charles more recently than you have haha.

Misericord · 17/07/2018 11:51

If illegitimate you would never be in the line of succession so that directly contradicts your previous post....

AornisHades · 17/07/2018 11:58

Ah that makes more sense and is probably more interesting

00100001 · 17/07/2018 14:56

"I am a distant descendant of Queen Victoria but have dropped off the line of succession. "

But... you can't have dropped off... you might be 3482nd to the throne, but it would still be there if you were a descendant of Victoria :/

can you at least tell us which of her children was your ancestor?

AlpacaLypse · 17/07/2018 15:03

@00100001 Probably Edward VII. He was very enthusiastic about the ladies. I went to school with at least one of his descendants, but male and therefore unlikely to be OP.

00100001 · 17/07/2018 15:04

I don't really see the point of this thread, OP clearly isn't royal... at all!

AlmostAMinorRoyal · 17/07/2018 15:49

I might have mentioned a name.

OP posts:
Misericord · 17/07/2018 15:58

God I bet you make this you talking point at parties or in team bonding exercises. This is astoundingly pathetic.

Imhertwopennyprince · 17/07/2018 16:24

Ok if you 'might have mentioned a name' then you won't mind repeating it clearly this time so you can answer the questions you've been asked...which is the point of AMA

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 17/07/2018 16:38

My parents had a Charles n Di mug once.

Get those questions rolling in...

00100001 · 17/07/2018 16:53

johnny OMG!! do you use it to make Liz a brew ???
