No, Marina Ogilvy is the daughter of a princess and has most certainly met the Queen. She doesn't wait for kitchen scraps outside KP kitchens either.

I was almost the Queens grand daughter in law. I had an offer for a lectureship in philosophy the year Prince William was starting at St Andrews. Had I accepted it he would have been my student, he would have fallen madly in love with me and we would have gotten married.

I am actually a princess, but my evil stepmother had me banished to a small cottage in the middle of a forest, where I was brought up by a woodcutter and his wife.
They always shopped in Aldi, but I sensed from a very young age that I really belonged in Waitrose.

OP, I really don’t think you have grasped the concept of AMA. The idea is that we ask you questions and you tell us stuff. Specific stuff that we don’t already know, not vague generalities.

So, if you are really ‘Almost Royal’, talk. If not, stop wasting our time.

My question : do you actually know any members of the royal family? If so, who and how well?
