Do you know much about camouflage makeup for scars? I have self harm scars on my arms. Don't usually bother me but obviously I can't have them visible at work (they're faded now but I tried shorter sleeves once and got nasty comments). Is there anything you know of which might cover them? Thanks!

My skin is very oily, especially my nose and either side of my nose and it shines all the time. It's even worse when I put make up on.

@ImTakingTheEssence I learned how to do eyeliner by using one with a nail polish type brush for the lash line then a pen for the wing. Try this and practice it frequently then you will eventually get the skills to use it free hand and with your preferred format. Use a pencil then trace over with liquid. Also, clean up the wing with concealer.

@sadiekate use an eyeshadow primer, and set with translucent powder. Set eyeliner with a black eyeshadow. Use a lipliner before lipstick and apply lipcote.

@eggsandchips it is a very good invention, but you have to find someone reputable, that doesn't do it in their house, and also it is not permanent, it is semi permanent. It is, on average, £200-250 per session.

Thank you so much. This will probably sound silly to you but something like that could improve my life so much!

I'm not being facetious, I swear, but in all seriousness who has time for this? I have about half an hour in the mornings to get up, washed, dressed, have something to eat, sort my bag and get the kids out of the house. The idea of having time to use 4 or 5 different products 'patting down' or 'leaving to dry for 10 minutes' between layers is just baffling to me. I'm asking anyone really, not just the OP.
