As a lifestyle and shopping editor she's got more than 15 years' experience testing everything from family holiday hotspots to mum-friendly makeup.
She's always on the lookout for the best products to make parents' lives easier, whether that's a super-duper coffee machine (she's usually had three espressos by the morning school run) or a cleaning solution that really does get pen off the walls.
Since becoming a mum to two (slightly wild) boys, Charlie's found herself writing about the trials and tribulations of parenting life for publications including Stylist, Huffington Post, Netmums, i Paper, Metro and Made For Mums.
Before her entire personality became being a worn out mum, Charlie worked in magazines. After graduating with a journalism degree in 2011, she began her career working for teen magazine Bliss. As well as road-testing a lot of sparkly lip glosses, she also spent her days interviewing boybands and watching teen dramas.
From there, she went on to edit Kent-based luxury lifestyle SO Magazine before taking the leap into freelance life.
When she's not at work, Charlie can usually be found shopping (she takes her job very seriously), spending time in her hometown of Kent with her one and five year old boys, or planning her next escape to the sun.
