Aimee's statement. Notice how he uses the plural, as in survivors instead of survivor. Does this mean there are more than just the 10 year old girl he was jailed for abusing?

It sounds like there's more than one. Mind you, there's usually more than one.

I think she is saying she is taking a break- if the Green Party has anything about them they would have said we’ve told her to go. For good. Permanently, and she won’t be back.

Yes she also says victims. It suggests more than one.

Did anyone ever bottom out whether there were reporting restrictions?

Because victims plural does strongly suggest why there may indeed have been good reason for them, assuming they existed. And the absence of this story in many major news organisations is quite suggestive.

That poor little girl. I can’t imagine how much she must have suffered. Good that Aimee Challenor has resigned and recognised the grave seriousness of the offences.

Unfortunately, it looks as if there are more victims.

Aimee hasn't resigned, just stepping away from the Deputy Leadership Contest, I expect Aimee will just stay under the radar for a few months, then it will be business as usual

What has she done wrong? I can't see why she is responsible for her father's crimes

As her statement makes clear, she employed him as an election agent after he was arrested for sexual offences against children. At best that makes her incompetent, possessed of poor judgement and unfit to stand for public office. At worst......well let's leave that there.

She should have been sacked. I don’t care how far the greens try to run from this it stinks. The incompetence is just gob smacking.

Aimee will not be undertaking any official Green Party roles while the party urgently looks into the circumstances which allowed this situation to arise
