Oooh, Trope Central.

Nesbitt! Missing person! Suspicion! Beautiful countryside! Flashbacks!

I'm in.

TheLaughingGenome Sun 21-Feb-21 11:38:15

Blondes, is this a SPOILER FREE thread, btw?

Meredithgrey1 Sun 21-Feb-21 11:40:02

I’m looking forward to this, it’s Jed Mercurio but apparently not too similar to Line of Duty

LadyEloise Sun 21-Feb-21 12:30:30

I'm looking forward to this too.
@Blondeshavemorefun will this be a spoiler free thread ?
Can you edit the title to let posters know please.
I have no access to BBC player so need spoiler free though I have been known to take a peek at spoiler threads blush

Blondeshavemorefun Sun 21-Feb-21 14:11:02

Thanks, @Blondeshavemorefun.

Blondes doesn't binge

I still haven't finished watching Floundering Alice. Maybe I'll have a look this afternoon. I sort of lost interest after two weeks.

Blondeshavemorefun Sun 21-Feb-21 14:52:49

Thanks @mnhq

I like Alice. I think as I lost a dh that I understand her black humour and things she does /says

It’s the last one tonight @TheLaughingGenome. Def watch the others

I'm waiting for Finding Alice to come to Irish tv.
We have Virgin Media which often brings us ITV shows later than the UK - grrr !
The Bay is a week behind the UK. 🙄😩

JaneJeffer Sun 21-Feb-21 16:30:22

I've got to watch the last episode of FA because I can't record ITV so I'll record this and then hopefully watch live from next week.

Blondeshavemorefun Sun 21-Feb-21 16:59:54

Can you watch +1 itv so 10pm

Wearethetwirl Sun 21-Feb-21 21:09:13

God forgive me but I've had to put the subtitles on!

Blondeshavemorefun Sun 21-Feb-21 21:22:52

I usually have subtitles on

I do love an Irish accent

I kind of like the look of this but James Nesbitt does my head in a bit. I'm from the same town as him and bloody nobody talks like he does.

killickthere Sun 21-Feb-21 21:25:50

i wanted to watch this but my goodness Nesbitt is one crap actor. So i can't.

paperandfireworks Sun 21-Feb-21 21:27:12

Compared to Line of Duty/ The Fall this is just awful. Cringey and badly written or directed

wellthatsunusual Sun 21-Feb-21 21:27:29

Yes! He has the staring into the distance looking pained thing and...no, that's all. He doesn't convey emotions to me at all.

Wearethetwirl Sun 21-Feb-21 21:29:18

I watched The Bodyguard which started spectacularly within the first few minutes (although wasn't happy with the ending). This one is taking me a bit of time to get into...

TheLaughingGenome Sun 21-Feb-21 21:30:13

It's all a bit expositional.

hopeishere Sun 21-Feb-21 21:32:05

The woman playing Nesbitt's partner is terrible.

Blondeshavemorefun Sun 21-Feb-21 21:34:38

I think it’s ok so far

I’m easily pleased 😂
