By the end I have to say I was completely engaged and gripped and egging them on

I find Nesbit so hard to watch, he spoils any good plot for me as I struggle to get beyond his bad acting.I will give it another episode but not going to hold my breath.

They've certainly stretched the boundaries of how far you can drive in one day v Lough derg x 2 , queens quad in the middle, and a hotel with a cute of the mournes thrown in!? I think it has promise but I wouldn't have cast nesbutt. I like his side kick.

Yes, @LadyEloise. What I love about his writing is that he's willing to challenge the status quo. It's good to see the NHS in a less than saintly light, and it's interesting too what he said about the police not accepting that there's widespread corruption in the ranks.

I loved Bodies and learned more about my own birth issues from that programme than from the medical profession.

A bit off-piste as I know Jed didn't write Bloodlands but I'm hoping for some Jedness.

Watched last night. Keep seeing him as Colin Howell. Didn’t think it was great, so probably abandoning it. Disappointing.

I knew there was something iffy about the doctor. It was so bloody obvious she was going to be significant from the moment she first appeared.

Didn’t see that coming but does explain why he was so calm when they were identifying bodies - he already knew who they were.
