I’m so excited too! Can’t decide whether to binge watch straight away or keep it for the Christmas holidays! Decisions...
I can't wait
Marking my spot I've been impatiently waiting for this. Did you see Helena Bonham Carter and Olivia Coleman on Graham Norton?
Yes I thought they both came across well last night and seemed to be quite close. Anne Glenconner's book sounds very interesting.
Ha, I impulse bought the book on amazon at the end of the show!
Really looking forward
I can't wait. The Lady Glenconner book is fab - a fascinating insight into the life of a woman of a certain class at a point in history.
I'm looking forward too.
Have re-watched S1 and S2 (for about the gazillionth time) in anticipation.
Oh I just loved Lady Glenconner's book and seeing her on GN show last Friday. Apparently the book is flying off the shelves & being reprinted by publisher. Can't wait for The Crown next Sunday.
I can't wait either so excited!!
I was disappointed with the rude behaviour of HBC and OC on graham Norton. Both talked to each other without including other guests , talking over other guests and graham, and olivia’s outfit did nothing for her.
I can't wait either.
Despite that, I am looking forward to the next series and am rewatching the previous series, Claire Foy will be hard to follow she is brilliant as QE.
OC had her back to Graham a lot which I thought very rude
Placemark! Can’t wait.
Four days to go!
Forget OC, it's all about Josh!
.
Just watched the trailer. A bit worried that I am not loving the new Philip. Hopefully my mind will be changed tomorrow.
I agree that Claire Foy will be a hard act to follow, she was mesmerising in the role. I love Tobias Menzies, he is the main draw for me, he was brilliant in Outlander and I think he really looks the part. Can't wait.
Yes, I'm expecting Tobias to be perfect as Phillip. He looks great, as they all do. Can't wait to see it.
I'm cynical. Helena Bonham Carter is herself in everything. I don't think she has the subtlety or the range for Margaret. The previous actress was perfect.
I am swinging between can’t wait and fear that OC will undo all the magic Claire Foy brought. It was the understated performance that nailed it. I’m not convinced OC can understate.
excited and nervous.she didnt wear contacts so we have to suspend belief about eye colour.
plus i am worried the story will still be fascinating
