Will anyone here be watching?!

snoopyokay Mon 27-Feb-17 08:47:48

I will be! Just finished catching up on series 2, love Olivia Coleman and David Tenant smile

Very excited about this! I do worry it won't be as good as the last series, which wasn't as good as the first series though.

BookABooSue Mon 27-Feb-17 08:56:13

I'm very excited about it! Objectively, the last series was a bit rubbish but the quality of the acting, the MN threads and Miller's orange parka made it all worthwhile wink

Optimist1 Mon 27-Feb-17 09:14:08

According to the Radio Times, this series is better than series 2 and possibly even than series 1, so I'm anticipating good things!

Looking forward to it nice to see Lenny Henry too.

Wonder if the killer will reappear?

troodiedoo Mon 27-Feb-17 10:13:57

Let's not forget the beautiful Dorset scenery❤

I loved series one until the big reveal which I had guessed some weeks before. I enjoyed series two though!

drinkswineoutofamug Mon 27-Feb-17 11:33:49

Does it start tonight?

2014newme Mon 27-Feb-17 11:34:58

Yes although series two wad poor in comparison to series one.
They've been filming where we live in North Somerset

Glad to see a thread running, ill be on here throughout this evenig as dh is away so the telly is All Mine.

Loved s1. Thought they could have ended it there. Wasnt too enamoured with s2, they ought to have done a totally different case. Eagerly anticipating this series as I think theyve realised that doing more of s2 wouldnt work.

Love the new additions to the cast.

See you all this eve!

WigglyWooWorm Mon 27-Feb-17 16:16:21

Eagerly waiting for this. Really liked season 1. Dutifully watched s2 and happy to see where this goes.

I don't know how I'll cope. I'm a latecomer to Broadchurch and binge watched series 1 and 2 on catchup. I was so brilliant, how will I cope with a week between episodes?

LillyBugg Mon 27-Feb-17 16:26:07

I can't remember what happened in series 2. DH hasn't watched it, will he be able to just watch series 3 with me?

troodiedoo Mon 27-Feb-17 16:52:48

Lilleybug I would have thought so, they usually make each series of these drama things standalone. They might even have a recap at the beginning.

BookABooSue Mon 27-Feb-17 17:49:38

Fingers crossed that it will have no connection to Series2. tbh all I remember was a lot of MNers being distracted by the fence building of the main 'baddie' , the story was nowhere near as good as Series 1 and it was beautifully acted.

NapQueen Mon 27-Feb-17 18:13:31

I wish theyd done the same as Netflix did with The Crown and just released them all at once.

Or one a night mon to thurs for two weeks.

KittyOShea Mon 27-Feb-17 18:17:50

I'll be watching. Loved series 1- cried proper tears and everything! Series 2 was dreadfully disappointing so am hoping the hype is true and it's back to series 1 quality.

My only problem is it's on at the same time as The Walked my Dead- don't know which one to watch and which one to record!

McButtonwillow Mon 27-Feb-17 19:54:39

Yes yes yes! Can't wait, looks like it's going to be brilliant.

AnyFucker Mon 27-Feb-17 19:55:57

Is it on at 9pm please ?

KittyOShea Mon 27-Feb-17 19:57:45

Yes AnyFucker 9pm on ITV.
