I had no idea Hayley from Corrie was going to be in it. From Corrie to Broad church, eh? Good performanceso far. Alec seems to have mellowed a bit...

Was interesting to see the procedures and the crisis centre, not the kind of thing you usually see on TV. Was surprised the male police officer was involved in that bit.

No it doesn't matter Crispbutty. I've only just twigged how fantastic Broadchurch is by watching catch up. Fool that I am.

Was the young woman getting into the car with the young man, as Alec and Ellie brought Trish home, Danny's older sister?

I wondered the same but then also this is possibly the 'ideal' and not all police stations/officers are equal (and I speak as a sister to one).

I think it's good that they're showing as well as telling that rape is/can be violent. Trisha (?) is so bruised.

In my experience they're not as nice as that. Nowhere near.
