Hello 👋🏻
Thank you @Ellapaella

Sooverthemill Mon 20-Jul-20 21:01:47

@itssquidstella just seen the jumpsuit. It's gorgeous! Have fun

Shannith Mon 20-Jul-20 21:03:19

Hello! Stunning jumpsuit @itssquidstella

itssquidstella Mon 20-Jul-20 21:04:14

Thanks everyone! It was a sale bargain last year and I'm trying to make sure I get enough wear out of it!

ememem84 Mon 20-Jul-20 21:24:50

Checking in

Today’s outfit - blue stripe shirt dress - oasis and grey tomms.

Ds asked me why I was wearing my jammies in the day (hes 2.5) shrugged it off.

Got to work and the boss asked me if I was taking dress down a bit too seriously given I was in My pyjamas. 🙄 ds must have text him....!

Will not be put off though. I like the dress. It’s cute and comfy and casual.

Wildernesstips Mon 20-Jul-20 21:33:24

@Spasandstripes absolutely love that skirt. Have a lovely evening @itssquidstella. Thanks for the new thread @Ellapaella.

Today is the same dress as yesterday with a wrap cardigan I made (I need to make more colours). Embarrassed at the fact I am wearing super large flip flops which used to belong to one of my DS.

Judystilldreamsofhorses Mon 20-Jul-20 21:34:54

Thanks for the new thread! It’s been lashing rain here all day, so I am in “house clothes”, plus my new oxblood DM Church boots I am trying to break in.

I like the dress @ememem84! I got a lovely new cardi from &OtherStories the other day which has puffy balloon type sleeves, and my DP helpfully said it made my arms look big. 😳

Sickoffamilydrama Mon 20-Jul-20 22:53:53

@itssquidstella hope you have a great night and the jumpsuit is great.

StarlightLady Tue 21-Jul-20 07:59:40

@itssquidstella - I loved the colour of the jumpsuit too.

I’m afraid, l’m still too shy to post my pics.

Ellapaella Tue 21-Jul-20 08:15:38

@Wildernesstips the dress and wrap cardigan is lovely, you are so talented. I would love to make my own dresses, maybe I should think about a sewing class. I used to do it when I was younger (taught by very talented Grandmother).
@StarlightLady don't worry if you don't feel comfortable posting pics, we still enjoy hearing about your outfits.

What's with the weather? The forecast seems to change every day and one minutes the suns out next minutes it's blowing a hooley and freezing cold. Don't know what to wear on days like this. I'm doing the exciting job of housework this morning anyway so it'll be old joggers and a T-shirt for me.

Sooverthemill Tue 21-Jul-20 08:18:07

@StarlightLady we are very kind, I promise. Cross you head off it you want!

Here I am today, wearing a bralet ( because I have a ginormous ant bite exactly where the hook and eye falls) so feeling a bit self conscious about sagging. Also, What is the weather doing? I object

Tee: spark note Elizabeth Warren tribute
Jeans: Levi 501s ( who said they had an outlet nearby? These were 50% off in liberty sale so total, bargain)
Sandals: air and grace

Have a good day everyone

Softpebbles Tue 21-Jul-20 10:50:25

@itssquidstella that jumpsuit is gorgeous. It really suits you. Hope that you had a lovely evening.

@Sooverthemill love those pink Levi’s.
@ememem84 I think the shirt dress is great. Love the knot detail.

How talented to make your own clothes - and nice ones too. We should set you off making our own Mumsnet dunga’s.

Boring day today. Working from home.

Dress warehouse with white next vest as always feels a bit low.

Bioprepper Tue 21-Jul-20 10:59:15

oh new thread, following.

I dont post or put pictures on as im in the middle of recreating my look (midlife crisis come early i think) and feel a bit blah still but i love seeing what you are all wearing! You all look fantastic smile

Sickoffamilydrama Tue 21-Jul-20 11:57:25

It was me with the outlet @Sooverthemill I live near Bicester village outlet, I only go there for kids shoes at Clarks and the occasional wander it's so busy during non Covid times apparently it's the 2nd most visited place for Chinese tourists in the UK.

I tried this dress with a belt but the portions just don't work it's weird I think it's because the belt would need to sit higher to be on the slimmest part of my waist?

Sandals Clarks

Curious as to where you live @Sickoffamilydrama (I'm very nosey) -my sister and her family used to live in Arncott, a short drive from Bicester. I grew up in Oxfordshire. I used to visit Bicester Village a lot on my early 20's. Not been for years. I live up North now and when I go back to visit I like to go into Oxford with my Mum to do some shopping. Might have to pay a visit to Bicester sometime (after corona).
