Good point on the thermals @Sickoffamilydrama - I had to go into the office one day last week and it was very chilly with all the windows open. Thanks for the Uniqlo sizing tips, I'm 5'2" so the leggings could be a good fit for me 

I really like those trainers @Ellapaella, I've got some black new balance which I bought for the same reason - they go with everything - and I wear them a lot. Good reminder on the Aldi special buys @Shannith. I got some really warm wool socks there last year but they shrank in the tumble drier I'll have to keep a look out for more - I also like their thermal tights, and skins for DS (he likes blue to match his football kit and not many places do blue but aldi came up trumps a couple of years ago - they were finally retired in the spring when the holes on the knees got so big the bottom half of the skins came off altogether!!)

@Softpebbles they stretch! Mine have stretched loads since I've had them so I would be reluctant to size up

@Softpebbles - I normally take a 5 (sometimes a 5.5). My docs are size 5 and I don’t find them too small.

Definitely wearing my autumn/winter wardrobe now. I miss my heated office - even if it did get a bit warm on sunny afternoons

Pricey but my god they are warm and comfy. I wear them with everything even though I brought them to run in. Super durable - stand up to a lot of wear/washing. I tend to wear them as slippers quite a lot too.

Hi everyone sorry I’ve been awol I’ve been ill. Still 100% but getting there. DD struggling too but As I’ve not been able to get out of bed, DH has been trying his best to help her. Her comment ‘dads very nice but really competent’ says it all.

Very chilly working at home today so I've put on a cashmere jumper from Uniqlo and jeans and warm socks from M&S. Plus black DMs when I took DS to school.

I'm very tempted by the idea of @Ellapaella's fingerless gloves, my hands get so cold typing and it looks like I'll be working mainly from home for the foreseeable...

Chilly here so heating on - don’t care, it’s October! And in Scotland.. Still trying hard to stay motivated, and away from the leggings, lol. High waisted combats from All Saints, with Vivienne Westwood high tops and a Mandalorian tee shirt! Gotta love Baby Yoda

Someone on my village Facebook page was offering a bag of clothes in my size for free, and to drop them round so...

Mostly river island and Zara and some really nice bits. I've been trying on instead of working!

Nice surprise! There were loads of other bits as well. I actual had a Hush delivery this morning and I quite like the harems but £55? Ummm. Underwhelmed by the joggers they sent. I'm mean they are nice, but expensive for what they are. I have been ruined by charity shops and nice people in the village!

@Shannith what a lovely bag of clothes! I love my hush harems and wear them a lot, but I agree they are expensive. Worth it for me on cost per wear though. I've got my eye on some grey leopard print joggers.

I'd have worn the Next jeans again but had to wash them after an accident with ketchup, nevermind. They have washed well btw.

I wanted something indestructible for wet cold muddy weather plus I like the gold detail as I wear gold jewellery fairly often... can't go wrong for £16!

We decided to go out for pizza for tea so I changed into a skirt from finery and Uniqlo jumper. First time I've worn the skirt, I'm pleased with it

Morning all! I haven't been on here for ages and am simultaneously impressed and depressed at all your gorgeous outfits ..... my life has been work, work and more work and this week I actually lived in a (gulp) dressing gown at my laptop. Quarter end though .....

However today I need to buy some jeans. I have lived in the cropped sort all summer, which suit me as I have quite short, chunky legs. I have taken brutal photographs of my only wearable pair that are not black and I look huge.

If anyone can advise I will be so grateful. Money not a massive object. I don't like baggy or bootcut or high waisted. I just want to look a bit better in the damned things 😬
