@OublietteBravo lol, I think you should definitely take being allowed to pick your own outfit as a compliment! My mum went through a phase of wearing shalwar kameez when I was about 15 (we're not Indian/Middle Eastern) and I found it mortifying. High praise indeed if DD approves of what you're wearing!

No interesting outfits from me but I do have a nice new face mask. Now there's a phrase I never thought I'd have uttered six months ago...

Hi all I love this thread and you have inspired me to ditch the scruffy jeans while I am working at home, so thank you. I used to live in formal office wear and trying to mix things up a bit but I am struggling with the weather up North, I feel the cold anyway and this summer is rubbish. Would you wear dresses with tights and trainers? I know this dress is maybe a bit long, it looks better with bare legs and white trainers. Thinking ahead to autumn what else can I wear on my feet if it's cold? Sorry for the rubbish photo I was rushing!

@LoveBeingAMum555 yes absolutely- I think trainers and tights are fine - your outfit looks great.

@Justonedayatatime11 that's lovely. I am jealous as I've never had an engagement ring nor eternity ring. We could afford one now but every time DH suggests it I can think of a zillion things we need more! I would lose it anyway, all that hand washing these days!
@LoveBeingAMum555 yes definitely with tights and trainers, it looks great. @itssquidstella stylish face mask! Mine are Baukjen and lavender hill and although I bought them in April I think I've yet to wear one! DH has a few he uses to go to the bakers once a week and we have boxes of disposable ones still for medical purposes. Am up early in PJs. No photo

Just done my yoga session watched by the cats! Might it even be sunny later? If so I may put on a skirt. I read somewhere that next weekend is supposed to be a scorcher

Morning. Out of my comfort zone today wearing a ‘holiday’ jumpsuit. Don’t usually wear in this country!

Makes me look quite wide - or maybe I am!
I’ve put a denim jacket on anyway.

@LoveBeingAMum555 - welcome. I’d definitely wear dresses/skirts with tights and trainers. In fact that’s pretty much my winter work wardrobe you’re describing.

@Judystilldreamsofhorses - gorgeous ring. I really, really like it.

I’m back in my jeans and a jumper uniform. It’s so easy to default back to it. I’ll try harder once the working week starts tomorrow.
