Is now haunting me via ads, with additional horrific items! Thanks MN!

Ida3456 Wed 03-May-17 21:54:50

Me too! Arrrrgggh

LizTaylorsFabulousTurban Wed 03-May-17 21:56:05

Ha ha ha grin it's going to haunt us all. Pink horror is this year's penguin bollard.

ErrolTheDragon Wed 03-May-17 21:58:52

And people wonder why there are ad blockers....

Sillybillypoopoomummy Wed 03-May-17 21:59:28

and me! bastard thing keeps appearing on facebook, on the telegraph page and everywhere else I go. They are probably going to interpret this as everybody being tempted to buy it!

ErrolTheDragon Wed 03-May-17 21:59:58

The solution is to find the biker jacket thread and peruse its links. That should improve your screens greatly.

jeaux90 Wed 03-May-17 22:38:44

Those mules are hideous confused

Bleurghghghgh Wed 03-May-17 22:43:43

Look at the dress in the middle!!!

SunshineOutdoors Wed 03-May-17 22:46:59

That pink dress reminds me of the time I attempted dress making. Curtains I can do, dresses not so much.

FunkinEll Wed 03-May-17 22:50:14

I tried it on last week. It is HORRIFIC on, way worse than on the hanger.

The fashion bloggers are going to love it though (does DLAM have it yet?! wink)

I walked into M&S yesterday and there was that very dress looking sack-like on a mannequin and also blown up to huge proportions on a model in a poster nearby. I can't believe they decided that THAT DRESS was the one to lead their promotional campaign!

ilovecherries Thu 04-May-17 21:38:13

It was the main enterance display at my local M&S tonight. In real life it is breathtaking in its awfulness. I was fingering the fabric in a sort of horrified fascination and this assistant said to me 'it's gorgeous, isn't it?' A passing customer caught my eye, smirked and winked at me. I nearly asked her if she'd seen it on here first.

Frills are in all over the place.

Check out these beauties from River Island.

Available in red, pink, black, white, grey and taupe.

Gingernaut Thu 04-May-17 21:55:23

What I can't get over is tropical print everywhere.

Primark, Top Shop, M&S, RI, Debenhams and House of Fraser have all got variations on a theme of palms and parrots

wtffgs Thu 04-May-17 21:58:30

Those River Island monstrosities need some sort of quarantine round them. Who TAF would look good in those??!!

Gingernaut Thu 04-May-17 22:03:19

I'm short.

The trousers would fit me as ankle grazers.

As would these in Regular length.

Lambbone Thu 04-May-17 22:14:51

I'm being followed by The Dress!

I actually went to view it in person today. Just as frightful irl, and the fabric is horrid.

I might try it on next week for a laugh if I can brace myself sufficiently.

ErrolTheDragon Thu 04-May-17 23:00:22

It's a clever lure. People are being irresistibly drawn to see it and then are reminded by the colour that they need to pick up some naice ham. The shape of the sleeves subliminally prompts the purchase of 2 bottles rose wine.

jeaux90 Thu 04-May-17 23:04:45

Errol grin

SingaSong12 Thu 04-May-17 23:04:57

This time I've learnt my lesson - not clicking on anything on this thread. Which just leaves the question what should I search for to improve my adds?grin

OlennasWimple Thu 04-May-17 23:05:22

Please can everyone go and try it on and post photos to this thread? (I would, but I'm not in the UK)

My ad sidebar is full of moody models from Oak sad <---- that's what they look like

Gingernaut Fri 05-May-17 15:51:58

I have chosen to accept the mission as set by OlennasWimple.

I am currently on enemy territory as I type this message.

I can confirm the dress is made of crimplene-like polyester.

The T-shirt sryle round neck front gives no clue about the back of the dress.

Gingernaut Fri 05-May-17 15:53:31

I am 5 feet tall and approximately 14-16.

For the mission, I selected a size 16 dress.

Gingernaut Fri 05-May-17 15:54:55

Try posting picture this time.

The whole dress rose up when I raised my arms

Gingernaut Fri 05-May-17 15:55:48

The back was awful.

Forgive the posture fellow MNetters.
