On the plus side. Pockets.

This is Gingernaut. On enemy territory in the café Mission accomplished.

FunkinEll · 05/05/2017 16:01

The material is awful, I agree and see through so you'd need a slip. Also, while I love a pocket on a dress, these ones don't sit well and puff out at the hip.

ArseyTussle · 05/05/2017 16:01

Ooh Ginger, you should get it. It'll be indispensable for the day you're invited to a Copacabana themed salsa party and someone's forgotten to order the marquee. Grin

FunkinEll · 05/05/2017 16:02

Gingernaut did you buy it?! Grin

AmethystMoon · 05/05/2017 16:03

I have no words......

Gingernaut I applaud your bravery. Grin

Gingernaut · 05/05/2017 16:03

Don't be so fuckin' daft.

Did I 'eck buy it. Grin

dahliaaa · 05/05/2017 16:06

Yes you def need a slip - but then you can't really wear one because the material is so awful that it shows through too much

Gingernaut · 05/05/2017 16:06

I fully admit to having the wrong foundation garments but I really have no idea what would be suitable.

The V back goes down so deep a dress slip would be visible and the bra would have to be chosen with care as well.

dahliaaa · 05/05/2017 16:07

Err Gingernaut are you saying I'm stupid GrinWink

EsmesBees · 05/05/2017 16:07

That's taking one for the team gingernaut!

Gingernaut · 05/05/2017 16:09

This is Gingernaut.

On enemy territory.

Over and out. I've finished my Bakewell Tart slice

DeathByMascara · 05/05/2017 16:10

Laughing away to myself here at Gingernaut in that dress - if is truly awful!

ChristianGreysAnatomy · 05/05/2017 16:11

Ginge you look like you've been in the dressing up box!

Serious respect to you for trying it on though.

OlennasWimple · 05/05/2017 16:12

Bravo, Gingernaut! Grin

Come on, Dahlia - you have the dress, you owe us a picture!

feesh · 05/05/2017 16:14

It would be good for a choir... they could all fit inside

jeaux90 · 05/05/2017 16:18

I am enjoying the fact that the whole of gingers arms disappear when she puts her hands in the eye pockets. Handy if one needs to go dressed as a savaloy

Somerville · 05/05/2017 16:19

Gingernaut Grin

I actually might buy it. Shock I've been invited to a 40th birthday party, and we've got to dress like it's 1977. I was going to make something but that dress looks like it would work, in a big size (am pregnant).

jeaux90 · 05/05/2017 16:20

Eye pockets !! Euwwwww

No idea how that typo happened Confused

Gingernaut · 05/05/2017 16:31

I'm in Boots using their wifi.

Yes. The crimplene is exactly the sort they used for dresses in the 70s, but I don't remember it being so thin.

NomDePlumeReloaded · 05/05/2017 16:33

It's very Abigail's Party, isn't it?

Not in a good way.

sundaymorningbringsthedawnin · 05/05/2017 16:37

It looks like a pink cassock!

Gingernaut · 05/05/2017 16:41

I thought Beverly, Susan and Alison looked a little more 'tasteful'.

The pinkness is a shocker.

Gingernaut · 05/05/2017 16:42

If I had the right foundation garments Spanx, a 14 might have suited better.

I cannot believe you tried it on.
You deserve some kind of medal.
It looks like a pink hospital gown.
