Another month when I strive for some consistency in my yoga practice

Nervous System Regulate with Adriene this morning. Definitely a favourite when fibro playing up

Just done Breath day 23. Got it in just before the rain starts. Sneezed my way through day 22 yesterday.

Yogachick · 25/08/2024 06:29

Bed with fibro yesterday ,crawled out for Nervous System Regulate this morning

Day 24 Breath. Nice practice (though I hate breath of fire which it began with). Fresh air and clear blue skies this morning after the rain yesterday. A lot better than yesterday's humid practice.

Yogachick · 25/08/2024 20:47

@PatienceOfEngels I LOVE Breath of Fire😆

Day 25 of Breath (love - 23 mins). I really like how I can track the path of the moon with early morning outside practices!

20min Yoga for Abs Feel Good Flow. My abs need SO much work to keep my efforts out of my hip flexors.

Yogachick · 27/08/2024 09:30

Breath day 27 (19 mins, heal). Meditative - mainly gentle stretching and breathing. Another beautiful morning.

Rummikub · 28/08/2024 13:42

I scrolled back through your comments @PatienceOfEngels and picked day 25 breathe.

Perfect for me today
Short at 23 mins and gentle.

She can sing!

20 min yoga for hips today in the garden with my darling dog wandering wet/ muddy pawprints all over my mat, that dry by the end of practice and I can’t seem to get off

@Yogachick I really need to work on my hips! It's where I hold all my tension.

This morning Breath day 28 (36 mins) Bit more energetic with some flowing in there. Had to plan a bit to make sure I was organised enough to get it done before work.

My moon is a small sliver in the sky now and almost disappeared from my yoga field of vision.

Yogachick · 29/08/2024 10:53

Would recommend that hip one @PatienceOfEngels I liked it because it wasn’t too passive, not just long holds in pigeon

5 min full body stretch this evening. Nice

Still practicing outside - just. Was cloudy this morning and had been raining so no moon but saw a bat!

YWA Breath Day 29 Believe (28mins). Nice practice with a good mix of poses.

PatienceOfEngels · 31/08/2024 07:57

Final practice of the month and last day of Breath (50 minutes!). Didn't set my alarm for sunrise yoga since it's the weekend so it was about 7:30 when I headed out. Still lovely - blue skies and white fluffy clouds and vapour trails, gentle breeze, birds heading across the sky...and a 9 year old interrupting me half way through to ask for breakfast (I told them to go away! Old enough to make their own brekkie anyway).

I always find the day 30s a bit weird as even though it might be liberating to do what you want I still want to follow Adriene and end up peaking at the video the whole time and ruining my flow a bit.

Moving onto Move next which I've never done. Almost all of them are between 20 -30 minutes so a little easier to plan in (I find over 30 minutes a challenge, especially on a working day).

For the first time ever I've done 60 days of yoga! (technically missed a few days and then doubled up).

Thanks for the thread @Yogachick and the support from everyone else joining in.

50 mins Shock

I've enjoyed your commentary thank you. And it inspired me to join in more than I would have otherwise.
