So I did another Sarah Beth today which was excellent. I’m hoping to continue my impressive 3 day streak.

Love this idea 😊 Please can I join?

I’m just getting towards the end of my first trimester and have been feeling rough but I really want to get back into some gentle pregnancy yoga and the accountability of being on a thread would be super helpful!

I’ve not tried Sarah Beth but I love Adriene and need to branch out and find some nice pregnancy ones now as well.

Yogachick · 01/05/2024 08:27

of course @meepthebeep welcome!I’ve no idea about pregnancy yoga but there must be some out there.
Sarah Beth x 2 for me today. Started with a 10 min full body morning yoga stretch then that wasn’t enough so added on 5 min lazy yoga stretch. I played lawn bowls for the first time ever yesterday& really needed to stretch out newly used muscles.

Hello! I'm currently lying in bed waiting for my tablet to charge before I do today's yoga. It's raining and I have the day off so feeling like I should be brave and do one of the longer (60 minute) sessions I've added to my playlist but never have the time for.
Beyond that though I will be back to the usual 10-20 mins.
I've never done any of Sarah Beth's so will take a look at those this month. Thanks @Yogachick

Yogachick · 02/05/2024 09:45

Morning @Jumbojem bright sunshine here☀️I’ve never done 60 minutes of yoga at home, only in a class
Today was the old Saran Beth 20 min detox again. There’s twists, plough & shoulder stand in there . Went out last night & drank copious amounts of wine so detoxed it out nicely 🤞

Well, I ended up spending too long lying in with a cuppa to do a long one. I did do this 30 min core one though, which she describes as "spicy", wasn't so spicy for me though as I couldn't even do half the moves! Very humbled at how weak my upper body is, so lots to work on!

I would like to start yoga at home to complement 2x a week pilates classes as my core strength degraded after a period of illness.

Too late to do every day in May but would try some of the sessions you have posted. Thanks.

Yogachick · 05/05/2024 13:22

Welcome @ZenNudist ! If you would like any pointers to easy/ harder shorter/ longer YouTube practices I’ve tried loads if you need any help x

Well done Yogachick! I did a very old one from Adrienne which is on her May playlist. The camera quality has improved a lot over the years but a lot of the familiar sayings even back then (6 years old!).
Did a short Kassandra on Friday. No yoga since then, it often drops off over the weekends for me as more people around and no space/peace to do yoga.

Yogachick · 06/05/2024 13:03

@Jumbojem its fascinating to see the change in Adriene,in style & production. New 20 min one for me this morning-Floating Yoga School. I really enjoyed this & will be coming back to it for sure

I thought I could do my usual yoga before work, but forgot it is Tuesday not Monday, which means it's an office day so no time for yoga.
Will aim to get up extra early tomorrow to do a decent length session before work! I haven't done any yoga since Friday now.

Yogachick · 08/05/2024 16:14

5 min Sarah Beth today, asthma is troubling me so that was my limit

Notts276 · 08/05/2024 16:21

I've gone back to Adriene's Center series so that I don't have the dilemma of what to choose each morning.

Jumbojem · 08/05/2024 17:34

20 min Kassandra morning yoga for me, I e she uploaded in the last couple of days. Enjoyed it, nice blend of slightly demanding with restful poses.
Was going to do YWA hip release which is also a recent upload but will save that for another day.
@Notts276 yes, I'm guilty of sitting on the mat and dithering about which to choose so following a series def helps.

Yogachick · 08/05/2024 19:39

@Notts276 it’s a constant effort for me not to spend my whole practice time deciding what to do/ avoiding boredom with a particular teacher’s style. It’s why I like the idea of a calendar to follow, despite never having actually completed one🙄

True Day 20 (I think) Awake from the YWA May calendar for me this morning.

Yogachick · 09/05/2024 16:45

Love True @Jumbojem .
Floating Yoga School 25 mins this morning. Awesome practice,I’m rating stuff as I go along and this is a strong 3(0 is OK,1 is I enjoyed it, 2 is a good one to repeat, this is the first 3,I’ve not yet had one I actively dislike yet)

Note this is a sweaty practice x

Yesterday another one of Sarah Beth’s BAM saved me in the afternoon-Feel Good Yoga Stretch & Twist 2024. This afternoon was Sarah Beth Saturday Strong & Balanced from her 7 day yoga challenge. Only 15 mins but I got a sweat on,there was figure 4 ,goddess & half moon in there, some of my favourite poses, though my breathing was well off,bit of panting going on🙄.How are we all doing?

Jumbojem · 11/05/2024 20:34

Hi Yogachick I got up early and did parkrun and now away camping for remainder of the weekend so will be no yoga until Monday a.m.
I may try that floating yoga one you posted above next week though. Need to do a few tougher ones!

Yogachick · 12/05/2024 16:40

rubbish sleep due to asthma cough, grumpy AF day, then got on my mat. Sarah Beth Sunday Slow Stretch Restorative 15 mins today. I feel SO much better, lovely & chill

Day 1 of Charlie Follows 30 Day challenge -Hips & Hamstrings. Not sure about this one. There was a lot of intensity there for an ‘all levels ‘ practice, though she did give options. Jury is out

PatienceOfEngels · 13/05/2024 08:12

I have been following the thread but not posting. I always feel better when I do daily yoga (I often do YWA in January - loved the length of this year's practices) but now out of the habit.

Posting to make myself hit the mat this evening!
