Apparently everyone is afraid of losing me and my skills lmao.

Fire Engineer, was earning less than 30k three years ago in another industry then changed industry and trained up.

Auditor in a low paying part of the UK. Hit £50k when I was 25.

however I studied for 8 year, have 2 degree, 1 postgrad.Ongoing CPD and appraisal

Civil Servant, hit £48k 15m after joining as a graduate c.10 years ago now. I worked my socks off and got promoted quickly. Now I’m a senior civil servant on just under £100k. I could get more in the private sector but value the public interest and work life balance.

Teacher at the top of the pay scale plus a TLR for leading English puts me just at £50k, I think will be a tiny bit over when we get out extra 5.5%!

Currently on contract c£160k pa inside IR35 🙄 A bit less than my typical earnings but not complaining....

Secondary school English teacher on 54.5 K. I’ve been teaching 30 years so am on top of scale and 2k of that is a responsibility allowance for 2nd in Dept. However it would take you a while to get to that salary.
