I mean, WTF? How many more warnings of actual violence do there have to be before the risk these people pose will be taken seriously, especially just days after Anne Widdicombe was murdered?

And why am I not surprised that Green councillors were in attendance Hmm

Christ on a bike.

Minasama · 13/07/2026 22:52

Have we woken up in another part of the world? Surely stabbing effigies is the realm of less educated and more primitive societies.

suburberphobe · 13/07/2026 22:55

Unreal.....

And horrendous.

Well, yeah

To be honest, I don't like the whole effigy thing - because I think dehumanising politicians or anyone for that matter is a dangerous game.

This is absolutely awful. I initially thought this sort of person was just really nasty, but now I'm genuinely beginning to wonder if there is something clinically wrong with people who behave like this.

to be honest a lot of things that have happened recently have made me wonder if some people are missing the empathy gene.

Boiledbeetle · 13/07/2026 23:09

Do they have any idea how completely and utterly deranged this makes them look?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/07/2026 23:30

I really hope Burnham hears about this and has a little think about what sort of people are this deranged, and whether women just might be justified in being wary of them.

MarieDeGournay · 13/07/2026 23:36

Insult, aggression, threats of violence and actual violence seem to be very close to the surface in the trans community.

They use language like 'discrimination' and 'marginalisation' and 'literal genocide' to justify acts of aggression and violence.

Given that there is no objective evidence of any of 'discrimination' and 'marginalisation' and 'literal genocide' against trans people, I suspect that the aggression and violence generated the justification, not the other way round.

So they can be violent, including violence against women, AND be edgy and cool and 'on the RSOH'.

Every Guy Fawkes day, I feel this. It is a sectarian festival.

ElenOfTheWays · 14/07/2026 00:13

It's just so poisonous. The entire transactivism ideology. Look at what it turns people into.
I'm so sick of it. All of it. The lies, the propaganda, the brainwashing, the threats of violence, the actual violence. Women being raped in prisons, assaulted in toilets.
The terrible things It's doing to children. Actual CHILDREN for God's sake!
Talk about monsters!

And these idiots! A minute's silence? Seriously? For whom? No one has died here for being trans.
Just more lies.

UprightCitizensBrigade · 14/07/2026 00:52

Stabbing an effigy of the incoming prime minister is deranged behaviour. These people have mental health problems that need serious attention.

Come to NI, there’s been lots of it the past few nights (decades) and nobody does jack shit!

thirdfiddle · 14/07/2026 01:08

What's Burnham done to offend them now? I was feeling a bit apprehensive about his government, given how woke Manchester is.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 14/07/2026 01:17

They’re tantrumming about the EHRC guidance.

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 14/07/2026 01:37

holding a minute silence for transgender people who have lost their lives due to societal prejudice and violence.

There's not exactly many of them in this country, is there? You can count on one hand the number in the last decade. Trans people are more likely to commit a murder than be murdered.

By contrast, two women per week are murdered by their misogynist current or former partners.

TinDogTavern · 14/07/2026 01:42

But they just want to pee! 🤔

Apparently he has expressed support for the Supreme Court ruling.

Things like this were always going to happen. So many damaged kids have been fed the lines about “trans genocide” and “literal erasure” that they’ve been frightened into thinking that the assertion of women’s rights is going to kill them. You've only got to look at trans Reddit to see regular references to suicide, so that’s where their heads are at to start with. Throw in the thug element that’s just spoiling for a fight anyway and you’ve got a cohort of people - and their useful idiot supporters - who see the women’s rights pushback as an escalating fight to the death.

I'm sure our regular scolding visitors wil be along any second now to tell us why this is perfectly fine...

any second now....

SurreySenMum26 · 14/07/2026 06:41

Ok so how is this tolerated under Prevent? Either its not tolerated or its a joke. It's a bit like Rochdale where we mustn't upset feelings. Soon enough we will be so woke that we will be to scared to to upset paedophiles rights.

Politicians will be too scared to stand and all we will have left is extreme views.

Bullandbear · 14/07/2026 06:41

Fringe nut jobs.

If they weren’t doing this, they would be throwing soup in art galleries or blocking the M25.

Cut their benefits.

BridgetYourFortyDaysAreUp · 14/07/2026 08:32

Interesting. So this kind of "freedom of expression" is allowed, but women saying "no" and parents saying "let's think about this, let's discuss" and therapists saying "let's explore the issues" should be criminalized?

I hope Andy is starting to wake up to the reality of what TRSOH looks like.

Daleksatemyshed · 14/07/2026 08:36

Every time something like this happens it should be on the news but it never happens. If everyone saw these protests a lot more peeople would wake up to how dangerous this ideology has become

It’s mind boggling that people bend over backwards to keep them happy to the extent of even denying biological reality and making themselves look stupid. These people. Stabby people. Abusive people.

Oh this has already happened. IIRC Posie Parker had the police on her doorstep for being ‘untoward about paedophiles’.

That is already happening. Look up Kelly Jay Keen and " untoward about paedophiles". I can't link on my phone but it should be easy to find on You tube.
