I mean, WTF? How many more warnings of actual violence do there have to be before the risk these people pose will be taken seriously, especially just days after Anne Widdicombe was murdered?

And why am I not surprised that Green councillors were in attendance Hmm

The 'far Left' doesn't believe men can be women btw, ( or vice versa) cf the Communist Party of Britain who definitely don't.

It makes me angry when so many critics make simplistic statements about trans rights being a far left cause when most people (on both sides) don't know the first thing about far left politics. You can support the rights of women and be a lefty; they're not mutually exclusive. 😡

@Fgfgfg

I wonder where else on the political spectrum TRAs should be attributed to. The typical outfit is as a liberal member of the green party, the far-left political party of the UK. I wouldn't call communists liberals, or the extreme left as we see it, like capitalism and socialism they seem more as an economic model linked to politics.

I've stopped giving these people any quarter. The entire ideology is a toxic cult with a physically violent wing which in my opinion should be treated accordingly.

I no longer give it much thought but I have been evolving my opinion generally on how we as a society prioritise resources and attention. My "peaking" journey used to be something like, trans people aren't actually the most marginalised people and we should give attention/priority to others who are more marginalised, such as women in prisons.

My thinking is shifting to something like: "being marginalised/vulnerable" shouldn't be a criterion for priority at all. Society should organise itself around people who are able to fit into it competently, because then it will select for people who are able to do that.

We can't say for years that "vulnerability/marginalisation" gets you sympathy and not expect to have people create spiralling narratives of increasing danger to themselves, trans genocide blah blah, that lead to this kind of openly violent reaction because they've been conditioned to genuinely believe they're in physical danger justifying an even more violent response.

Society should organise itself around people who are able to fit into it competently, because then it will select for people who are able to do that.

We did that for a long time. It wasn't good at all for disabled people. I'll remind you that you and anyone else can become disabled at any time.

Compare and contrast it with the paratroopers, who were disciplined, for using pictures of Corbyn, for target practice:

That was inappropriate workplace conduct handled as a disciplinary matter, which is not comparable to criminalisation.
