I'm really sorry, but when I saw that I read it as "Of course I support trams – I'm not a monster". This might not be quite what was intended; is Martin Wossit in favour of green transport?

Don't we all need a laugh at the moment. Wouldn't have predicted that it would be the Good Laugh project managing it, but maybe they've finally achieved a "success" after all these years?

To me it reads as if the monster is pretending not to be a monster and is using professed support of trans people as misdirection to conceal how dangerous they are.

So close to the epiphany here. Yes, dangerous predators use claims that they support LGB and trans people, or even are one, to misdirect and hide in plain sight.
