Tempest (a TW) is claiming discrimination, harassment and/or victimisation on grounds of gender reassignment. Central to the claim is the existence of the Sex Equality and Equity Network in the Civil Service (SEEN). SEEN has been granted right to intervene. Parts of the original claim against the co-chair of SEEN (Elspeth Duemmer-Wrigley) and another party (Andreas Mueller) were struck out or narrowed. Another claimant, PQ, is no longer part of the case.

Please note that Elspeth still has a garden in need of seeds and water to support the ability of SEEN to be an intervenor in this case. The claim originated because she said "only women menstruate" and a search with her name and those terms at the usual gardening website should point you to her plot.

Err, ladies and gentlemen, I do…I do profoundly apologize for my learned friend and his badly misjudged attempt at humour. I do hope you weren't distressed by his outburst. And, and let me just say, in his defence, that up here in the tribunal it is unbelievably bor-ring!

J - heard two. which do you think is alleged here? Respondents?
AL - first one p348 - context made at Women in autism discussion, what EW discusses in her WS, and I think C too. what I cross examined C on. No suggestion an alternative post.
HH asked a few minutes to take instructions.

NC - first we've heard of it. I am instructed it is wrongly attributed in mod logs. It's not EW. You may notice not her style. Intervenor has not had logs for long.
HH rebuts.
AL - 250 items in log. Not fair.

J - there is an agreed list of issues. HH to take instructions which allegation is being pled.
