Yes. That is forced teaming.

Most would understand it as medical breakthroughs finding additional application in wider patient groups.

And the problem with eyeglasses or cataract surgery is they provide people with better eyesight. The horror! A body doesn't need eyesight to function.

You've never trod on a lego in the dark, have you? Eyesight lets you avoid pain, injury, and death by seeing objects and terrain that would harm you. Being blind puts the blind person at risk of harm.

Having a pouch installed where your balls used to be is purely cosmetic.

I've felt the bite of lego on more body parts than any one person should ever experience.

Your words used when specifically addressing trans women's bodies are a choice.

I began this latest iteration of the thread saying that not only trans women have a vaginoplasty procedure. The delineation of 'validity' between trans and non-trans is the transphobia.

Reconstruction of something that was previously present is not the same as construction of something de novo that your body can never naturally have.

CatOfHate has a tail. I don't. It would be evidence of insanity if I asked a surgeon to construct a neotail on my body, whereas attempting to repair CatOfHate's tail, if it was injured, is an act of kindness.

Vaginoplasty does not preserve the complete function of the original, if previously present. I've never had breast implants, but I imagine they would do a rather poor job at breast feeding in someone having reconstructive surgery.

I will never understand why people who obviously hate women so much, so desperately want to be one.

I didn't claim that function was preserved. I said that reconstructing something already there is not comparable to creating something that was never, and in nature cannot be, there de novo.

If I lost a leg, wanting a prosthetic leg would be reasonable because I had a leg before. Wanting a prosthetic tail would be evidence of delusion.

Because they're better at it! Better women, better mothers, better wives and girlfriends, better looking...

As men are better than women.

Apparently.

(I've just typed better so many times it now looks weird to me, as if I've spelled it incorrectly...)

Better sentient wanksheaths because they cannot inconveniently be made pregnant...

Uterine erasure is a feature, not a bug.

They don't really want to be actual, real women. Not at all.

They want to be men-women.

It's like Pulp's Common People.

Never let it be said that I am not prepared to read and learn. That certainly sounds like an interesting development. I mean, the fact that it means that the process of removing all hair follicles to avoid the dreaded prospect of a hairy vagina will no longer be necessary must be a winner, and then again, for those who want to hedge their bets and retain a cock and balls a peritoneal membrane option means not having to choose. It was a little sad that the report I read focussed on men who were having to have revisional surgery, I don’t know what the failure rate is for a neo vagina, but suspect it is fairly high.

Here's a good explainer of 'neovaginas'. Potential complications include:

"“Post-op infections and sepsis, necrotising fasciitis, pulmonary embolism, inadvertent bowel and bladder injury, urinary strictures, neovaginal stricture requiring often painful dilatations (life-long), numbness in perineum, fungal and pyogenic infections in neovagina, failure of reproduction/sterility, unpredictable effects on the prostatic tissue, urethral and recto-neovaginal fistulae (this complication can leave the individual with uncontrolled leakage of faeces and/or urine between the legs all the time which can lead to untimely death due to gram negative endotoxic shock).

What exactly is a neovagina, then?

I was recently contacted by an NHS doctor who is concerned about gender ideology and its capture of his profession. Let’s call him Dr J. Following retirement from full time work, Dr J is curr…

Zomg! I've just realised that the reason my hearing is dodgy isn't the hundreds of gigs I went to when I was younger.

It's because I've never had my ears pierced. If I get them pierced now, I'll have extra holes in my ears which will mean I can hear more!

Thank you all so much! ❤

He forgot death. Death during surgery is also a potential complication. HIV infection from the blood supply would have been a complication at one point, should one require a transfusion. It was too long ago and I cannot recall if it was still an issue. Trans women over 40 tended to suffer DVTs from being bedrested for 9 days back then, causing them to die as soon as they stood. I don't know if it is still a thing.

Death is indeed a potential complication of any surgery. Easily swerved by not having sex-larping surgery.

Please give me one bit of evidence of a man who died 'as soon as they stood' from DVTs please. It's not 'still a thing' because it never was a thing.

Evidence. Or admit you're full of shit.

Is this a trick question? You already believe 'sex-larpers' are 'full of shit.'

The thing is, male people are not having ‘vaginoplasty’ and no medical professional should be calling any male extreme body modification procedure by that term.

There really is no comparison between a female vagina reconstruction and a male having an artificial cavity inserted into his groin. It is not ‘valid’ to describe the procedure using the same term.

it is also not transphobic to point this out.

This is where you are demanding that your subjective belief about yourself that isn’t reflected in material reality is treated as if it is materially real. A male person having an extreme body modification where a cavity is sewn into his groin does not have a vagina in any way. The language used has been misogynistically repurposed.

A male person demanding that their artificially created body part that is not a vagina is referenced in any way as a vagina is a male person demanding that other people act as if that male person’s subjective reality which has no basis in material reality is materially real.

The accurate discussion and description of that procedure and rejecting that false repurposing of language is not transphobic.

> Male Primary Features: Penis, scrotum, and testes.
> Female Primary Features: Vagina, uterus, ovaries, and cervix.

If a trans woman gets bottom surgery to get a neovagina then that is what they call changing primary sex characteristics.

Same with testes being converted to ovaries which has existed for quite some time but as an experimental method. Only one TIM in the UK managed to go through it.

Uterus transplants exists but they're not available to people born male because of the differences in pelvis/hips and more medical research is needed for that.

Everyone is born female in the womb even with XY chromosomes so a person who is born female has a tiny penis called the clitoris which functions the same way as a person who is born male with glans.

I have to admire how you have not allowed facts to interfere with your opinions.

You personally have made up in this continuing obsession that my parents locked me in a clinic and that I took puberty blockers in your own head. And then followed me through many threads, with it.

This obsession with othering and denaming trans persons' genitals is transphobic.

Some trans men undergo phalloplasty.

Some trans women undergo vaginoplasty.

It is none of your business.

It is odd isn’t it. I think a lot of the hate is jealousy because we are naturally what they can never be, and the rest is misogyny.

What, the one about you being enrolled in the clinic until you extricated yourself at 12? That post? Or the one where you’re reading adult books at 11?
